We have similar setups, and what I’m most amazed at is the stock lines. I don’t think it could be possible without the meth inj. FYI, a normal cowl hood wouldn’t fit if you just raise the blower with the head, the flat portion of the hood would contact it normally. What are you general PMS timing settings? I ran a ton of timing down low and brought it back down according to boost (or rpm’s with the vortech). Simple but very effective set up, nice job (love the old school MOTORSPORT windshield banner)!
@joesepanik50213 жыл бұрын
Yeah I’m think I’m going with a hellcat pump soon and just run a single pump and see if it can make closer to 700rwhp. I had the stock hood and had to raise the rear and trim the under hood bracing I had a different intake at the time. PMS setting very the best way is tuning it on a dyno
@saleen88-0493 жыл бұрын
@@joesepanik5021 Without changing the lines, I’m sure you’ll have issues regulating the fuel pressure with the hellcat pump. I’m still shocked at your HP level with stock lines, but again I’m sure the meth kit and extra octane is helping with that respect. Post more videos in the future with your progression, would live to see more!

You're definitely not alone! While I understand a lot about these cars things like the meth injection were new to me. Learning as I go along. Thank you for watching and commenting.

I cant understand all the craze about the 5.0 coyote motor when they are expensive to buy and build for really no more horsepower you make you can get more bang for youre buck with a regular 5.0 or 5.8 push rod engine. Idk it just dont add up to me. 5/6/700 hp is all the same regardless of the engine.i guess people just want to say i got a coyote motor.

@JoeSepanik how did you fix the problem? What hood and modifications? My friend has 351w with v3 and cowl hood still hits. Thanks

Well when I still had the stock hood I had a GT-40 intake and had the lower shaved like 3/8 I think and I raised the rear of the hood about 1/4 with some washers
