TO TOM FROM ILLINOIS: Yesterday I received a small package in the mail. Of course, I was anxious to open the package and see what it was and who it was from. Today, sitting beside my Ipad where I spend most of my time, is a handmade smiley faced flower with a small frog beside her, the cutest things I have ever seen. The sunflower and frog have the sweetest smiles and manage to make me smile every time I look at them. I love little frogs! They will stay there where they can greet me every morning. Tom, wherever you are, I want you to see this message, and also, to say Thank You for being so thoughtful and kind. Wish I could add a photo. You do beautiful craft work. Make no mistake, I appreciate every note, card, gift, and display of affection I receive from my viewers. Thank you very much!

Hi Granny Pat! I want you to know that I'm not scared of what's going to happen next week. I'm not scared because I don't watch the news. I keep myself very well informed of what's happening, but I don't allow the traditional TV news to be on in my house simply because it's designed to make us hate each other for ratings. I'm not falling for that. I refuse to be scared. It only feels like nothing good is happening because the news will never tell you about it (it doesn't make them money)🙂

She would sing with little effort and it was superb. A lovely lady that truly loved her Country and a blessing we can still hear and remember her. Had to wipe my eyes on that performance. I was just a little girl but I do remember Kate Smith. She was an icon. That little stuffed horse is so CUTE! I hope many purchase it. Salvation Army is a great org. For what it’s worth, I want to encourage you Pat, and any other viewer about the election and the next 4 years. God is in control indeed, but I daily tell everyone…ALL Christians MUST GO VOTE! I don’t know why but many preachers and pastors are telling their people they don’t need to vote cause God will have His way. THAT, dear ones, is an absolute lie. We must exercise our Constitutional right of voting that many gave their life for. It’s disrespectful to every veteran who died on the battlefield to sit at home and not vote. Vote by mail, vote early at court houses, or vote on Election Day, but however, VOTE. Passivity and laziness gives control to wicked govt officials. I believe President Trump will win. We need to remember that fellow citizens can agree or disagree with each other and still respect each other and focus on what we have in common, fix the rest as we come to a mutual agreement. You are right G Pat!!! PRAY everybody. There is GREAT POWER in prayer to Almighty God. I have an older sister that one month ago pretty much wants nothing to do with me and has stopped talking to me because I am a Republican and she a hard left Dem. I ended the conversation with her by saying family is much more important than any election and that I will never cut any family off for disagreeing with me. She no longer speaks to me or acknowledges me. It’s shocking really. I advise all to NOT believe anything the news programs tell you. Most are owned by extreme left Dems. They are told what to say or lose their jobs. They knowingly lie and spread hate. I no longer watch it. I and my husband now choose to live life like things use to be. We are getting rid of junk and sizing down, scaling down on electronic device use (I’ll always watch you though G Pat!), cooking and eating at home. Simplifying and enjoying the small things. Being kind to others, helping out when we are able. So, be in peace all. Sure there are bumpy days ahead but still your hearts and minds…we will weather this storm and come out better. Jesus Christ is Lord and He will never fail us. 🍁🐿️🌾Cheri from IL
