From looking up "dubstep" in the search bar in 2011 until now - what a fucking journey. It's crazy how much of an impact Monstercat has had on my life for just shy of 10 years. I can vividly recall so many moments in high school, college, family vacations, holidays, literally just by putting on certain Monstercat releases. Thanks for the memories, and here's to many more years of cutting edge EDM.

It all started going downhill when they stopped using the star chart and the split into two channels was the final nail in the coffin and it makes me really sad. It's not the same Monstercat I remember. They release some good songs here and there, mostly on instinct, but it's just terrible songs that are a disrespect to the ears. And the views got hit really hard. Some of the good songs I mentioned aren't getting the recognition they deserve.
