The AI does actually count for multiplayer kills on invasion? I might have to give that a go. I hate this game so much but I'm committed to finishing masteries. I'm currently working all the mw2 guns still. Only about 10 or 12 deep so far. I'm going crazy trying to get it all done on shipment, to where I play one game and then close it.

I was in the same boat as you losing my mind grinding small map playlists so I looked up ways to either fast track the process or at least add some variety in the mix, luckily TechnicallyWild has a really good video explaining his process. Thanks, I checked that out too. Good place to grind my snipers as doing it in the non AI mode (ground war?) is annoying as everyone runs from me or tries to counter snipe. Might even try it with some of the melee weapons by sitting on flags with the full stealth kit. I am so sick of shipment it's not even funny. I had a decent k/d (not that it really means anything any more lol) but now I'm sub 1.0 because of shipment hahahaha.

I guess I can just edit this comment. It only works for mw3 guns unfortunately. I got the AI to count using the AMR but not the LA-B 330. I bet if I went back into mw2 and ran invasion it would work there, maybe. I might have to try that as well. But at least I can grind mw3 guns this way. I haven't even started really doing those as I wanted to finish all the mw2 guns lol. Well I just checked in game, seems either the mw2 guns don't work on AI or I'm doing it wrong. Only got 3 points on plat towards a sniper, which I think were all players I killed while trying to shoot the AI. I will try again with an mw3 gun and see if it makes progress on AI. That is super lame if it doesn't work for mw2 guns.

Not only did it take forever to get into a game since everyone moved on to mw3, as well as there being several hackers... I can confirm that AI do NOT count for mw2 guns even in mw2's invasion. Must only be mw3 guns in mw3's invasion. That's kind of annoying as hell but it is what it is. Sounds like it's a bug that they might patch. But hopefully not since the game is dying in 2 months at the end of season 6 lol.

@@leonadasjames738 Tbh I had a lot of IRL personal stuff going on at the time of taking on the grind, so it was a win even just giving me something to take my mind off things for a while. Now I get to show off my neat emblem and calling card to a bunch of people in the game that don’t even know what it is hahahaha! @@Froezone I would say MW3 if they’re the only two options. MW3 has everything MW2 has and you can progress everything from the previous game but with the better movement and maps in my opinion. Plus, you’d have everything available from MW3 to grind or play with. Only thing I really miss are Raids from MW2, grinding those for the secret camos is some of the most fun I’ve ever had in CoD.
