I had tickets to see them at Bogarts around 2007 or 08 when they were opening for Candiria and Kittie and the show got cancelled because of Kittie my friends and I were so pissed. They never rescheduled the show either bullshit.

Crazy to think that metal and hardcore have been around for so long that we even have people who have made a career out of playing sub-genre's now who are in their 40's and 50's. With Slayer finally calling it quits this year (2018), it makes me wonder how many of my favorite bands will keep playing for that long. I honestly prefer when a band packs it in earlier than later because they can become a caricature of what they once were or what they used to aspire to be.

I honestly forget about these guys for months at time, but every time I hear them I get this feeling of coming out a shitty time in life and instantly feel happier. It’s strange and I can’t fully do it justice, so I will just say, keep making music that speaks to people who need an outlet, a minute of not being ok and knowing people write lyrics to speak for you ; 11.24.11 is engraved on my heart and it’s sad that people don’t have an appropriate outlet to scream their sadness away .
