Hi guys! I didn't express it well in the video because everything was happening so quickly but wow, I fell in love with Oslo. Weirdly enough it reminded me of my short trip to Montreal a few years ago, which I also loved :) It really felt like a quiet neighborhood everywhere we went and everyone was so kind. I freaking LOVE being greeted with "hei hei" hahah! I'd really love to go back and explore more than just Oslo but the short time I spent there was amazing! Thank you for having me Oslo! If you like slow travel, you can take a train to Frederikshavn in Northern Jutland, there's an overnight ferry from Stena from there to Oslo, too. If you have the time, make a stopover in Aarhus and Aalborg, two very nice cities in Denmark. You could cross in Hirtshals, but then, you will need a trainride on the Norwegian side, too, Colorline goes to Larvik, only some 3 to 4 hours. The easiest way without flying would be from Kiel to Oslo with Stena. Unfortunately, the cheapest way is probably flying (I believe norwegian has flights from Hamburg to Oslo).

I live in Oslo , and to be honest just going to oslo do not justify the trip. Its like a miniature of every other generic European city, but as a stop over city i guess it works. If you are going to Norway Go North or South do not go to Oslo as one of your main destinations. If you are here and you like museums the Folke museum is a must. Its a museum where they exhibit buildings and you get to go inside the buildings .Also they have several fully furnished apartments from different time periods. Its like they just went into some ones apartment and went "Yeah this gonna be a exhibition now". The Viking museum is a bit of a downer because of the small size of the museum. The fram Museum is neat if you like the arctic and arctic explorers.

I live somewhat near to Montreal and have been there a time or two. Get food at a place called Larry's. Eat poutine somewhere. Cafe Myriad has a really nice location on St. Denis. On St. Laurent there are loads of nice shops of all kinds (Annex Vintage is a swell place), and the Dispatch coffee location on that street is absolutely wonderful. I've also never heard a bad thing about Foiegwa.
