I’m with you on how much easier it is to simply buy new decorations rather than trying to find the old stuff for Christmas in the basement. I have lots of vintage Christmas decor in totes in the basement but it is always so much work to sort through and unwrap everything. Really enjoyed this chat! You had me laughing often on this one!

Don’t worry too much about content because we enjoy your videos whatever the subject. I need inspiration from you for sure. I’ve lost all my “caring” about my home. I have the big “C” and so many things that I used to care so much about, I just don’t now. My daughter says I’m depressed. I take anti-depressants but I guess they don’t work. Every night I decide what I’m going to do tomorrow. Then tomorrow I just don’t care. My medications make me extremely fatigued and the oncologist said that is normal for this medication. I can watch you enjoy all your beautiful things and it lifts my spirits. I’m 73 and want to do so many things but they never happen. God bless you Granny Pat for sharing your life and stories. You are a real treasure!

Can't wait to see your Johnson Brothers china....my mother-in-law had Johnson Brothers china it was called " Friendly Village " my favorite....breakfast plates were a little smaller than thè dinner plates.....😊. The larger plates each had a different farm scene, and a different time of year...They made a beautiful table setting.....My youngest daughter inherited them.......!!!! They are very much cherish.....!!!😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤

@ I don’t have special formulas for my hair or cosmetics. I bathe with Dove soap. I use a variety of shampoos. They all work for me. I am going to try a Purple Shampoo to see if it will give my hair a pretty silvery shine. It was recommended to me. I have used one moisturizer for years on my face, Avon Nurtura. I would like to find something for my wrinkled hands and arms.

I am very familiar with Johnson Brothers Indies Blue and it is an absolutely gorgeous china pattern!!!!! I can certainly see why it was impossible to resist!!!!! 💙🤍💙🤍💙. I can definitely relate to getting Christmas decorations out of storage versus just going out shopping to buy something new. Our decorations are just in the other room in a large walk-in closet, yet I think I would just as soon go to buy something new from the store rather than pull out all those plastic storage bins and start digging. I suppose the best thing about it is that I use everything that is stored now and it’s really not that much-it’s just getting in there to get it all out. For the past several years, my head tells me not to put up the big living room Christmas tree anymore; but, my heart continues to tell me, “oh yes you are, so get up and put that big tree up right now”!!!!!
