Eh castor oil or black Jamaican castor oil as well as coconut oil is the shit. I switched all my products to those that contain castor oils/coconut oils in some capacity. I don't use pomades anymore for hold i strictly rely on compression to lay and hold my hair. It's argon/castor/coconut oil (I mix a third of each in a 12oz squirt bottle @ 4oz each) shampoo and conditioner with black Jamaican castor oils, and lots of brushing and combing to lift and allow those oils to get down to my scalp and to help develop deep waves and better connections. I also scramble not only to wash my hair but to apply those oils as well to ensure they get under, over and cover every strand of hair from root to tip. good ish my guy you the DJ Khalid of waving "YOU DA BEST"!

SwaggDrizzle nah 😂 my fault for not clarifying. I found a shampoo by a company called "Okay" that has a shampoo/conditioner line that has Black Jamaican castor oil in in at my local TJ Maxx. Shits fire it's made for your hair and beard (I used on both since I'm a waver and a bearder) it smells good and doesn't dry out your hair and prevents iching. After my shower routine I have a 12oz spray bottle that's full of of 4oz regular castor oil, 4oz Black Jamaican castor oil and 4oz coconut oil. I shake it vigorously before I spray my entire head. I then rub it in my hair using the scramble method then follow up with a 10min comb session to ensure it gets from root to tip then I finish up with a 15min brush session to start the process of my hair being laid. I then rag up, double compression, and hit the sheets!
