What can I add that has not already been said. Just when I thought that all is over with the emotional roller-coaster, here we have the desperation of a torn son reaching out to his mom who has never really been there for him. Danny deserves an award for his entire prformance as Aaron. I think he can be one heck of an actor to watch in the future. And I must say every actor/actress in this show is very good. Hats off to the writers too.

This part tore me up. Aaron going to his mom and asking for help was monumental. She looks so shocked that he would come to her. I'm just in tears.

Simply fantastic. Danny does such a brilliant job of playing vulnerable. He's completely lost; he has no earthy clue how to deal with his competing feelings of guilt and love. Such amazing writing. There are times I just want to cry to someone and say "take it all away please". I love how he went to Chas. He couldn't go to Hazel (who I love), because she doesn't really 'support' these feelings of guild. Not that Chas does, but she understands it better I think - and Aaron knows this.I cried!

Aaron telling Chas what is going on, "You should have known, I wasn't suppose to go through this, Can you make this go away, Help me mum". The comforting hug. Literally tore me apart.

Every time I watch Aaron's scene with Chas I get emotional. The things he said and the sheer emotion behind them ("I can't sleep. I can't breathe. All I see is him") and the pain in his eyes - he just looked so hollow and lost. When he pleaded with Chas to take the pain away you could see his heart breaking. All he needed in that moment was the comfort of his mother's arms in the hope that it would help take away his hurt. Danny Miller's portrayal was so raw and authentic - he made seem so real that for a moment you forget that he is acting. That is how good he is. He just pulls you in.

Danny Miller is my all-time favorite actor, and his skills on set are simply moving. What a sad scene at the end though; I cried, not afraid to admit it. I've been following this story since Day One of Aaron Livesy's reintroduction in 2008. Such an emotional, powerful, fantastic storyline; well worth watching!

Just re-watching some Aaron stuff and 6:28 to the end kind of takes on a whole new meaning after the whole Gordon storyline at the beginning of 2016. 5 years later and Danny Miller's ability to deliver heart tugging performances hasn't diminished one bit. But watching this part of Aaron's life again makes me wonder if Aaron would visit Jackson's grave before a certain RobRon event next year...

God that last scene, was heartbreaking. He has great support, and through this horrible experience he finally has come close to his mother, something no one expected, I swear when he said "help me, mum" the tears were rolling down my face. Danny Miller is such an amazing actor, he should get a special award for crying, when he cries, we all cry.

After what the writers have done to Emmerdale in the last couple of years I have to go back to scenes like this to remind myself that there is still a lot of talent on the show. If they would only fire everyone in the writers room today if couldn't get worse.

What an emotional revelation. Aaron finally realized that neither Jackson nor Hazel cared how the assisted suicide was going to affect Aaron, and now he has to deal with it for the rest of his life. He also finally realized that Chas would've stopped this from happening if she knew ahead of time because she's his mom and she truely cares for him. That's the true meaning of love, something Aaron thought he had with Jackson and Hazel. Aaron is so broken, he's going to need Chas now more than ever.

@sanyrub Agreed, actually I enjoy the performances of all the actors in this show. I really believe that all of them are great, makes a massive difference to watching American and SA soaps. Over the last year or so I have watched DeRo, Chrolli, Luwin and am impressed at the high level of performances the European actors are, and yet in SA we never get to see them, all we get is the American junk. Also the story lines are brilliant.

I agree with both JESSJUSTJESS and XxxXxxANNBxxXxxX about Chas being finally there to comfort her son. I too cried for Aaron and feel his pain. Whenever someone you are close pass away especially in Suicide cases it is difficult to make sense of it all. I still have moments that I cry for my best friend that committed suicide and died in August 2010. It is going to be a year next month which is going to be difficult when the day comes. Aaron needs all his loved ones to be there and listen.

@youpumpertube i appreciate your reply. =) in the early scenes between them, i see a lot of holding-back by marc, but on purpose. it's like jackson knows how emotionally volatile aaron is and he's second guessing every word so as not to scare aaron off. i didn't see it this way until the video diary entry where jackson said aaron wasn't ready, etc. marc really gets to shine in the fake-flirting scene with the other mechanic. and i agree, danny is an incredible actor! =)

I think I can see now why Chaz was so angry at Hazel she got Aaron involved in this assisted suicide thing even though he is just a teenager. Hazel and Jackson manipulated Aaron into helping him commit suicide. I know this is a soap but I don't like the message of the assisted suicide storyline.

UGH UGH AND UGH AGAIN This is like someone's idea of homosexuality circa 1957. A gay character gets maybe 5 minutes of "happy" or "romantic" screen time then spends the next YEAR in self-tortured hell. Enough enough enough. When ED decides it wants to let a gay character have a balanced life, with more equal measures of joy and sorrow, love and loathing, and pleasure and pain than Aaron/Jackson had, maybe I'll get interested again.
