I work in the IT field as a high/low voltage electrician. I hook up all kinds of networks, POS systems, home theatres etc... and I'll tell you what, without instructions, no one would be able to figure this out. There's still nothing that tells you what the mode button does. Like really? There's so many things they could've done to make this more simple. If you need a video to work a device, there's a problem.

I don't know if my mini camera is like any of yours but first I'd to say, this video is, not the best but far better than most available. However, I noticed he doesn't mention on a few other topics (such as how to make night vision work) so I'm still a little confused. Regarding the "magnets", the camera came with a base stand you set the camera on. On one end, the stand has a red sticker/label, that side is for where you decide to place the mini camera stand. On the opposite end of that red label, where the camera will go, that's the side that is magnetic. I hope I was able to explain it in a way you can understand, sorry, I'm not tech savvy. Matter of fact, I hate technology. Good luck!! Oh! And regarding sd cards, you can purchase them pretty much anywhere in the Electronics Dept. You can get from from Amazon & Temu as well.

They don't come with an SD card, but they should have. Should be included with the costs. Bet you'll have to recharge them daily to keep them operating as well. To be honest, I'm not happy with mine and I just got mine this afternoon.

Thanks for the video. I noticed that after recording the videos on the phone I am unable to copy it out or see the files in my file explorer. Do you have that issue? The app doesn't seem to have an option to copy out the files to other folders.

I don't think these camera self regenerate power to stay operating. I think they have to be brought in and recharged every so often for 2 hours, (maybe daily charged?) Daily removal and recharging doesn't work for me. I just received mine and so-far I am not happy at all with them. First off they all had to be charged up as they had no power in any of them. They should arrive with SD cards in them already installed. They should have been fully charged and ready to work right ot of the package. Maybe a top-up charge would be acceptable, but these things arrived completely dead with no power. I'll try them, but if I don't like them, they are going back for a refund. I'll get a better video camera and install it in need be.

Foreal . Yesterday I just recieve mines and it wasnt charge, no sd card. I realized it lasts for about an hour. I also realize on amazon it doesnt tell you how lonng this camera last so that was a red flag explain its only 18 dollars cheap. That is why today i woke it was dead and I just charged it last night. Its only 18 dollars so ima just find a better one. And look for battery life its no money.. i thought this was cool at first after that the battery life is an half hour long than it dies i need 8 hours not 1 or 2 hours. While i am at work lol its ok. Its only 18 usd it doesnt hurt my pockets. But i will never buy this again

@@dlowzidagreatest2644 If you bought a few of these cameras and if you have a friend that is good at electronics, rig up a 6 volt battery setup with a charging setup to keep the camera working all day long and feed constant power the cameras at a steady rate where they will not die out on you. A few (3), small AAA of AA type rechargeable batteries should do the trick with a small charging setup with a full charge shut-off. This way you can keep them operating 24 hrs a day or for as long as you wish to operate them. If you can't skin a cat one way, there's always another way to skin him. No sense it wasting spent money and not have them operate for as long as you wish them to operate.

yes i agree, this camera is junk. i get it on working and within a few minutes it freezes up and dont work. it doesnt stay on, keeps going off. i payed 16 and change for this camera, and its not what i really wanted. i wanted a camera, i could set up with my phone, and sit and watch the videos of my outside. and i cant do that, because this camera wont stay on, it keeps freezing up and goes off. ive charged it over night, and its the same thing, does stay on and it still freezes up... its junk to me.

May I recommend that you get a charger and have it plugged in 24 hrs a day to the household hydro. The cord that comes with the unit will do but if you need a longer cord find a place that sells extension USB cords with both male and female USB ends to give you more length or you can also use a normal electric extension hydro cord that will reach the area you wish to install the camera. This way it will remain plugged in at full power at all times. If you try plugging in the unit and run it for a couple of days indoors, fully plugged in and if that works inside your home, then you might be able to do the same thing but outside the house where you want it to be. If the unit keeps losing power while you have it outside the house on battery power alone then this is one way the unit will remain with full power 24 hrs a day and you'll be able to use it.
