I just figured out that vog events here are a lot like Santa Anna’s in LA, everyone gets a little nutty, including our dog!

I worked in Kona side early 2000s. The vog was thick on a good day, almost unbearable on a bad. When the winds would shift and the vog would get blown out for a day or two it was like seeing the island in literally a new light.

We live in Florida. But we love Hawaii. We have been there many times. Twice we came to see the lava and both times it stopped when we got there. Maybe we should move there so we can see it one time.
