"The sign SAYS no vacancy! Can't you read?" Intruders often look weirdly gormless to me, like they're surprised they ended up intruding on someone else's territory. Luckily this one, despite getting quite close to the eggs, didn't seem to be in an attacking mode. Fingers crossed it stays that way!

I don’t believe we’ve seen the intruder in daylight, but my guess is that it’s another adult (or at least second year) male eyeing this prime real estate and female.
