If your after your 1st catfish, find a lake like this one full of them, once you have learned how to fish for them, then head to the carp waters that hold the real monster cats to target...

Love the video. But wrong way to rig up a squid . First trim the tip off the squids tube .. about 2cm .. then remove the squids sleeve. It's like a clear plastic tube... a quick tug with forceps it's out.. then you want a long rig 2 hooks . Slide your whole rig in the squid . Bottom hook hangs in tentacles. Middle hook comes out the centre same as your rig ..makes rigging neater the squid softer provides a better faster hook hold ..

@@LondonPredatorAngler I am afraid its really true i had a argument with them on there facebook page..... i hav been fishing for 35yrs and had an accident 10yrs ago with left me paralyzed and in a wheelchair and they reckon i could not manage with a cat fish or large carp...... even if i had someone with me...

@@aaronstill3810 Large carp, you'd be fine. large cat, ehh bit risky as they pull like a train. hard bit would be landing them, so you'd defo need a buddy. but, those cats cost thousands of pounds. so i understand fishiers could be reluctant to risk them if they cant guarantee there safety. however, they could have at-least offered to accommodate you for a day to observe if you'd manage.
