Everybody wants to see how my 37 Freeman runs in rough water so here's a video! We had half a tank of fuel in the boat and pretty much a beam sea on the ride home. We also caught a pair of swordfish and a few mahi on the trip so enjoy some fishing action too!

Just so those who have not ever filmed out on the gulf or ocean, just in case you doubt the wave size or how rough that is, you can't see waves 2-3 feet or smaller on camera for some reason. At less than 3' it looks flat calm, so when he says 4-6', it might not appear that large on the video, but i assure you it is, because you can't see waves until they are 4+. Most people have never been out in 4-6' seas, and when they do, they call them 6-8 foot seas, becuase people dont' think about the fact that a 6' is over most heads when in its trough, so it's hard to judge wave size, but it's never usually as bad as some people say it was, but mainly i just wanted to share my experience with recording on the gulf and waves and how rough it has to be before it looks rough filming.

You know the boat is a beast when you can just autopilot your way through that at a good speed. Thanks for the video, was hoping you'd do one like this!

The introduction of the beanbag chair to boats was a game changer for long runs. Until boatbuilders can engineer some stow-able, low to the deck center of gravity, comfortable chairs…they are here to stay!

Lol I’d be interested in hearing them although it might not be conducive to booking more trips. I’ve got a great one. I’m normally sympathetic as I’m the scuba diver known for chumming at depth🤢. Let’s just say a diva with the attitude to match, tossed cookies so hard she darn near went overboard. One of the crew hanging on to her now sagging bikini bottom was the only thing keeping her from being “one with the ocean” It still puts a smile on my face. Cruel huh?
