The phase angle of v(t) is zero, from 10cos 2t. If you convert to polar form, you have 10

Please for the v=10cos2t why didn't you convert it into the sin form?

Its nothing really. You can either choose to convert or not, say you want to convert it. Cos wt = sin (wt + 90) Hence Cos 2t = sin (2t + 90)
