370z Nismo DNA motoring cat back exhaust installed

I actually like how this exhaust sounds. It doesn't sound overly bassy like most of the z's i hear. Is that due to the helmholtz resonators on it? Also how long were those mid resonators?

Ok so what final exhaust did you end up getting tuned. Was trying to keep up with your videos but lost track of which resonator you took out and flex added.

Just bought one for 370z but for my G37xS and just had to do small mods and fit perfectly and the sound🤤

Thank you! The g37 I believe is a bit longer chassis, but they do make that exhaust specifically for the g37 as well... just search “13 Infiniti G37 DNA CATBACK”

as a 3.8 genesis owner i can tell you exactly what that rattle is 😅 you can deaden that empty space sound with heat wrap on your downpipe to the x and it helps significantly

JonSantos670 I have been having issues with the DNA exhaust. It has a rattle and I’m trying to have the company replace it and now they are not answering my emails. So be aware of that

The second set(currently using) from Z1 motor sports

First set from eBay for $100. Second set from z1 motorsports. The eBay set were actually really decent. The reason I changed them is because when you install test pipes on Z’s there’s a hiss sound when u rev, at the time I didn’t know so I figured the test pipes were damaged. So I got the z1 test pipes and got the same noise. I did some research and came to the conclusion that I can’t get away from that sound regardless the test pipes installed.

at he end of the day, cold start in a non factor-who cares. I have the same exhaust- but with Berk resonated cat replacesments and I will say the sounds, the pull, the noice is 5 star. The one Con is that when you pull the cats , theres a lot more rumble so you WILL have to go in and reenforce the heat shileds or the will rattle.

If you buy the motordyne test pipes catalytic converter delete if you want to call it it makes the car even sound better they're only like 600 bucks
