They did a absolute beautiful job. You know , Michelle this kinda made me emotional. 😢 My brother died two days after Christmas day. He lost his battle with the cancer he had. I wanted to do this very thing for my sister in law & hopefully for my sisters. He lived in Guam for almost 40 years & loved the ocean. I am going to share this with my sister in law. You are right! It was a very private moment and we honestly were not sure if we wanted to make a video. Michelle was very clear that we did not have to feel pressured to do a video whatsoever. We chose to video this creation because it could help many others who want to find a way to memorialize their loved one. Based on a majority of the comments, I think it has already served its purpose. In terms of being upbeat, that is personally my coping mechanism when in public. I cry in private, and definitely am still mourning the loss of my mother.

Everything I use is linked in the description boxes. This particular video was different, as I was letting my friends do the work, so it was a bit harder to do the teaching. I have other videos in the playlist with much more instruction for basically the same thing. Hope that helps.😊😊

My sympathies for their loss, however, I agree with the earlier comment, and even though I am sure I am in the minority I will add to it: It is always wrong to treat the human body with such disrespect like this. You are playing in the remains of a living human being who had a soul and to put those remains in jewelry (it doesn't matter if they are esthetically pleasing) is so degrading to all involved. In the past it was considered a descration of the human body to even cremate them.

Everyone is allowed to have their own beliefs and own way of mourning & they don't deserve to be criticized for them, especially at a time such as this.
