Beautiful ❤ I think I would back it with your glitter and a second layer with a deep blue. Wouldn't change the matte background. It adds dimension to the finished piece. If it's all shiny then it makes it flat.

I love the clock. I think it would be pretty with a white/gold marble on the back. With the non-shiny, it looks like gravel in the back. It is pretty that way too.

I was just looking at this good and you could start from the left with the bare branches and continue to the right to make it a seasons clock! Bare branches for winter then small leaves sprouting for spring full leaves and apples for summer then the last leaves in fall colors! Then you have a 4 seasons clock.

I've made a clock before. Black rubber piece is called a gasket. I didn't use resin for my clock but now I want to get a clock mold and make another clock. If i go with the tree they'll have to be the peach for GA. ❤

I'm like you in that I don't hate it lol I think the background is too busy for me and it's detracting from the beauty of the tree. I think I would have gone with just a pale blue background. To cover the motor maybe just a small circle of darker blue just big enough to cover the motor? Like maybe a dark blue glitter or even scrapbook paper? But definitely would be some sort of blue to make it look like the sky in the background and let the tree be the main focal point. I think I'd do the numbers in a dark navy blue also. It is pretty, I just think I'd go with a solid background. I really appreciate all the time and work you put into these and I learn so much from you!

Opal can take on the colour that's around it. I agree would have been nice light blue or maybe some green down the bottom and blue on top. But still lovely. Just for next time you covered 3 apples as leaves 😂 2 very small and 1 large right in the bunch of leaves. Love your work ❤

I love the clock. Maybe I would have added some of the white pearl mica to the glitter to make the colors pop. I think that's why the glitter picked up the brown. Just guessing.

This is a 4 season clock, it starts with left to right, winter, spring,summer and fall. But I like the way you did it and I never would have thought to use make up!

Don. You big goof. LoL. I like the mold very much. The brown seems a smidge off. Perhaps it needed a bit of black to make it darker. All in all though ,it’s very pretty. I would hang that in my kitchen for sure. 😊 The black piece is called a gasket washer.

I’ve seen people spray their finished matte pieces with a spray lacquer and it makes it shiny without doing a top coat. I actually didn’t mind the matte but I guess it doesn’t show the ✨ as well.
