Tbh hoyo fandom wasn't like this before 2020. Even though hoyo's top game back then was HI3rd which has canon yuri moments, everyone simply enjoyed it without forcing the sexuality on the characters. But tourists entered this fandom when genshin got released (especially because of the lockdown) and these same people ruined HSR fandom's name as well.
