baole58 I liked BvS because it felt more realistic. The political plots surrounding Superman was a slow build, but paid off great at the end of the movie. And the action scenes, fantastic (Warehouse battle in particular). Batflecks hardcore Batman was a worthy successor of Bale's Batman. And the plot didn't feel overstuffed in the Ultimate Cut. Yes, Doomsday looked like something from Middle Earth, Eisenberg was annoying and the Martha moment was silly. But overall, it's an entertaining movie. It may not deserve an Oscar nominee for Best Picture, but it sure doesn't deserve a Razzie.

I totally agree with you. The animated movies BvS is based on are my favourite representation of the Bat. Dark and muddy. They did a pretty good job trying to convert those animations into real life acting. It's very odd to me why everyone is mocking​ the movie so darn hard just because it has some flaws. If you watch the "Everything Wrong With-" channel you'll learn all of your favourite movies has flaws. :p It also is very strange that every where anyone states "Hey, I liked it", people feel the need to point out every single flaw of the movie. Seems like bandwagon-ing to me. Not every movie is for everyone. BvS worst mistake is assuming people would understand that.

12/38* of my votes made it, while the one I voted for in the Worst Screen Combo category wasn't nominated. I must say I'm very disappointed with the nominations. There are movies and performances that were considered by most people either not so bad or even not bad at all**. Not the majority but, for an award as important as the Razzies, it's a large percentage. The irony is that, this year, the number of nominees was expanded in all categories. *I only chose 3 in Worst Supporting Actress. **Ben Affleck, Nicolas Cage, Will Ferrell, Owen Wilson, Aubrey Plaza and Sela Ward. And I still don't get how a documentary can be nominated for Worst Screenplay.

Why is BvS getting so much hate. It's definitely the most disappointing movie of the year but it offend me personally. It was just poorly executed. And Affleck was amazing in an otherwise boring film. If anything nominate Jesse Eisenberg.

Unfortunately, Jesse was nominated. He was actually great as Lex, Jr.. I saw a mix of Gene Hackman and Clancy Brown in him, which melded perfectly together to create a psychotic version of the character, who still becomes his own character without copying anyone else. Just my opinion there.

they rip apart some bad movies, i agree... but at least (for the most part) "Zoolander 2" and "Batman v Superman" were COMPETENTLY LIT AND STAGED. they're also totally cool with gunning people down for bad screen performances when they themselves may very well be two of the LEAST attractive and watchable screen personalities of all time. and take those fucking usher hats off. they're certainly not funny OR well-fitting, and i don't know what you think you're doing. it's really embarrassing, man. i suppose what they call "cringe theatre."
