Hey - whenever I try to play an Audiofile Pd writes that it couldnt find the file - where do I have to put the file for Pd to find it? Thanks!

If you don't provide a specific file path in the name, then Pd looks for the audio file in the same directory where the Pd patch is saved.

NO not exacty But loading your own files using the openpanel object is nowhere explained , and this video doesn't either Sof or all those struggling here's a solution Create a bang and route it into the object 'openpanel' , route a list object to the output of 'openpanel' object Now click bang , choose your file and it ill appear in the list object . To load it into soundfiler- copy-paste the list into a message starting with read and ending with the name of your table. Done
