Hey Papa, the 'algorithm' keeps giving me these great lessons. I was the lighting designer and board operator for my friends band back in the 80's playing covers in bars across the midwest. Now that I'm an old fart, I'm trying to learn guitar and some of these old songs so when the guys get together I can actually join in and play. Those were good times and these are good lessons. Much appreciated! (Not exactly like I can set up the old PAR can lighting rig and do the sequences!)

I am a big 38 Special fan and I think Jim Peterik wrote this song with Don Barnes. I know Jim and I have seen him play this song and he plays slightly different chords than you. Actually, Papa, you play the same chords I did when I first learned the song and before I knew Jim. I have not had the benefit of Jim teaching me his chords but I would love to have some one play the JP chords on youtube. He is a fantastic guitar player and the nicest guy in the world!
