I’ve looked into the Lehigh all copper bullets before but haven’t got any yet. Im currently running Speer Gold Dot 135 gr. Short barrel load. It seems to perform about as well as any hollow point I’ve seen tested. I think I’m sticking with hollow points. Great test sir, thanks.

I've seen tests on those 135 grain gold dots and they seem very good. All I can find right now are the 125 grain gold dots and the tests I've seen on those show they do not perform/aren't worth it.

I love the fact you used calibrated organic gel AND Clear Ballistics for comparison. The Golden Saber looks to be the best of the three. .38 special loads that work great in gel from short barrels are few and far between. The +p critical defense 110,gr, the 120gr federal punch, and the old Winchester 125gr sjhp +p are a few that seem to be decent.

Win Ranger 130 +P (if you can find it) and the Fed Hydra-shok deep are also solid 38 options.

I use the old 125gr remmington htp( green and gold box) + p and the winchester 125gr personal protection (white box) and 158gr lswchp in my charter arms undercover edc...i inherited it from my great grandfather and it was his backup duty weapon for almost 24years before that. ...ive always feltclike he would bot have left me that gun specifically, knowing id be carrying it, unless he trusted it....or secretly hated me😂😂😂 lol...but i doubt that. I have other tools,but that one checks the most boxes for my for about 85% of the time! Love the videos😊 Thank u

Appreciate the data. The Remmy Golden Sabers are right there with HSTs and Gold Dots, for my needs. Think I'll pass on the NXDs and TUIs

I got some of that Fort Scott TUI ammo, and I'm thinking I may just use wadcutter ammo. I'm using a 2 inch barrel, so I don't trust hollow-points to expand. I'll probably go with Underwood hard cast wadcutter, if I can get my hands on some.
