$5 per person per day? 😃

I found your channel back when you were extreme budgeting and had very low weekly budget meals. The bonus was you were also plant based .They are my favorite type of video. 25$ for 38 meals is pretty darn good.

One of the things I love about your videos is the simple and short ingredient list. Many people erroneously think this is too basic and not providing enough variety, but I take the "for inspiration" to heart and look at it the opposite way. You provide us more personal variety. Instead of watching a $50 budget meal idea and missing out on some of my preferences because my $50 budget has been maxed out, I can shop your meal ingredients with $25. Then I have another $25 for my preferences. Do I want more seasoning variety, more protein, more snack options, or to add diary etc...? It doesn't matter, because I now have the budget to personalize it to my liking. It's genius really.

I made a similar-ish pasta recently!! Rotini noodles, black beans, taco seasoning - but then I also fried up some tofu and added avocado+lemon juice+crunched up tortilla chips, and we ate it at room temperature. It was delicious, I'm gonna have to try yours next!

I’ve been using the soy sauce flavor ramen for years ! Add my veggies and tofu in the pot with the noodles instead of separate pans. I usually use mushrooms and broccoli, some kale along with the tofu.

Mine is Grape-Nuts and raisins... which is weird, as I generally don't care for raisins.

I do the same with ramen but I love to also add broccoli or broccolini. 😋

What type of noodles could I buy for a ramen substitute? I have high blood pressure and ramen has too much sodium 😞
@Infinite_Curiosity006 ай бұрын
Rice noodles have the best texture and appearance in my opinion but cost more. You also have the option to leave out the ramen salt packet.

Hey, I’m just starting to use dry beans so I’m not great with cooking time and storage. Does anyone know if it’s better to store the cooked beans with there liquids ? Or drained? I’ve seen videos with people doing both. Just looking to know best storage tips. Thanks!
@Infinite_Curiosity006 ай бұрын
It really depends on how you plan to use them. As in, will it be a dry-ish dish or is a little liquid fine? The cooked beans will soak up some of the liquid while in the fridge.

I love your videos and ttc journey! 🥰 You did the Rice Diet in the past and I know you can’t do that when pregnant. But would you mind reviewing my book, How To Rice Diet? Or would you mind doing one of the recipes in a video?

I don’t know honey nut scooters. Where to find and are they vegan? My husband eats Honey Nut Cheerios and I’d love an alternative.

It's a Malt-O-Meal brand, which I believe is owned by Post. Many national grocers carry it. It does not appear to be vegan, since honey is on the list. But I think some WFPB diets do honey? I've copied and pasted the ingredients list for you: Ingredients Whole Grain Oat Flour, Sugar, Wheat Starch, Honey, Salt, Calcium Carbonate, Trisodium Phosphate, Caramel Color, Molasses, Natural Flavor. Vitamins and Minerals: Ferric Ortho-phosphate (source of iron), Niacinamide (Vitamin B3), Zinc Oxide, Thiamin Mononitrate (Vitamin B1), Calcium Pantothenate (Vitamin B5), Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B6), Folic Acid.

What is tofu? No I’m not kidding. ❤
@yvonnepalmquist8676 Жыл бұрын
Tofu is a food prepared by coagulating soy milk and then pressing the resulting curds into solid white blocks of varying softness: silken, soft, firm, extra firm. Tofu is also known as bean curd in English. (Wikipedia)
