Don't be scared! Try to learn as much as possible, normalize the process for yourself. We're all nervous for sure but being informed has been super reassuring, all the other women have been doing this and trust that your body will know what to do! I find it helpful to imagine a thing I can focus on while I'm trying to breathe. I'm close to my due date and this is my first birth as well. I also just want to be safe and come out well and healthy. Never know what's going to be happen but we got this mama!

38 weeks today and due on Dec 12, 2019! I'm so tired and I feel so heavy. I'm so ready to meet my baby girl but at the same time, I'm savouring the last moments I have with her moving around in my belly. It's one of the best feelings I've felt so far on this journey of motherhood and I'm gonna miss these quiet moments when I'm in bed, with my hand on my belly, feeling her move around so much. I don't know if anyone else feels the same way lol. I'm also getting nervous for the labour part but I know it'll all be worth it when I finally get to hold her in my arms ❤️

Update: literally 2 days after I posted this comment I went into labor. She was 7lbs 7oz and 19in long. And absolutely beautiful. I only had constant and painful contractions, starting at 15 mins apart and I went into the hospital at 2am when they were 3-5 mins apart.

I must say, this channel is really an eye opener, specially for me as a first time mom. Although everyone’s pregnancy experiences are different, it’s good to know that there are others that could be going through similar things as you. I recently gave birth at 38 weeks and I felt prepared! With these videos and doing some research on my own, I was able to cope with all the changes that occurred physically/mentally. I always feel weird hearing women say they feel like they look so gross and don’t want anyone to see them. Being pregnant can be very uncomfortable but it’s also such a beautiful thing that it’s hard to wrap my mind around people putting so much emphasis on aesthetics. 🤷🏻‍♀️

For me it isn't the pregnancy itself that makes me feel gross, it's that I am so tired and sore that I haven't been taking care of myself like I used to and I'm such an awkward shape that clothes don't really fit me anymore. I don't have the energy to do my makeup or hair in the morning, my belly is always trying to hang out of my clothes, my pants never want to stay in the right position, and I can't reach my legs to shave or take care of my toenails. That kind of stuff makes me feel very frumpy🥲

Maybe just let women feel how they feel. Hormones, pain and discomfort amount to a general feeling of ick. Women aren't being shallow, they're nesting or isolating because it feels right. If people don't feel beautiful, leave them to it. You don't know their history or previous traumas. Maybe someone told them they weren't beautiful and it hurt. Everyone is different and it's a hard journey.

It is Friday Jan. 3, 2020. I'm exactly 38 weeks today. In exactly 1 week I will be going in to deliver my last baby and 1st boy, (I have 2 girls). I'm so excited to meet him because things are just beyond uncomfortable, but still trying to enjoy this last week of carrying him because I'm never doing this again. God bless all the mama's awaiting their greatest treasures. We are amazing! 💜💜💙

I was here in 2019! Watched every weekly video till I had my son in May 2020. It was such an amazing experience. Your videos helped me through all of the stages of pregnancy and what to expect. Well, here I am again at 38 weeks and I can't wait to finally meet our little one. I'm tired, exhausted, anxious, excited... it's a mix of emotions for me really. Lately, I have found myself engaging in lots of activities around the house, wanting everything to be perfect before baby's arrival. I also can't stop thinking about the labour pains! I’m still 37 weeks. Last 3-4days have been really painful and hard I even had labour like pain which I guess it was due baby dropping and now feeling so hungry every hour and moving, sitting and getting up has become really hard and painful now. Feeling baby so down just waiting for labour to start soon hopefully cause I feel really ready

I am 38weeks pregnant today with my 3rd baby boy! Today I am going to the midwife for a sweep as I'm going to be induced a week today. I'm really nervous because I just really hope this sweep works I've always had to be induced and would just love to go into labour naturally this time as this is my last pregnancy and I'd just love to experience it. I'm now 38 weeks pregnant! I found out I was pregnant at 9 weeks and I have been watching Channel Mum ever since. I can't believe I am at the end of pregnancy already. It went by so fast. My little one hasn't turned so I am scheduled to have a c-section in a week. I am so excited to meet her!

What’s weird is with my last two babies, I lost my mucus plug for SURE! It was kinda dark brown old blood and mucus. I’m 38 weeks on Sunday and I have yet to lose it! Hopefully she stays in there longer

@@mmk9539 it was quite the experience. Went in for my routine visit and found out I didn't have enough amniotic fluid. Doctor sent me straight to L&D to be induced. The meds didn't work after 2 days of trying and I ended up having a c section and had him Jan 5th at 39 weeks exactly. How's it going for you?

Mersadies Watlington hi mersadies, I gave birth naturally. I was scheduled for an induction, but I was so scared of that my contractions started by themselves lol. But it was honestly so amazing I pushed my son in 3 pushes and I didn’t take no pain relief. Xx

38 weeks tomorrow with 2nd baby. Been getting some back ache and some pains mostly in the evenings. Finding myself over analysing and worrying about every niggle because I had no signs of labour with my first and he arrived within 1hr 55mins of my first pain, only just making it to the hospital in time. Keeping everything crossed we make it to hospital on time and baby girl makes a safe arrival into the world 💖

About to hit 38 weeks, will be having a c section at 39 weeks as long as she doesn't come early. I've been watching these videos each week. Very informative. I've been having bad pains in my lower back and Braxton Hicks. I've found a lot of first trimester symptoms have returned too. 💕
