I like what you did with the alcohol ink backing. What I first thought when I saw the molds was they were meant to be a 2 color project. Add color in the crevices and wipe of with a card then put clear or another color over that. Brava to you for fussing with it. Great results!

These are, as usual, so freaking cute! Suggestion, when filling your vines or seaweed with the resin, try to put your dot of resin in the Y of the branches. These turned out BEAUTIFUL!! I would have done the seahorse in a bright orange, as you would see it better and the majority of seahorses are orange or yellowy colored. 😊 Yes, definitely bright orange!! The dolphin one, i would have tried to diferentiate between the water and sky (there are birds). I think i might have tried using sunset/sunrise colors (pink,purple,and a tiny bit of orange and yellow) to show where the sky is....and maybe tried to put a lil bit of white on the tips of the waves. I guess i get the one with the seahorse being a blue background , cuz its under water. But id still try to brighten them up a bit. 💜🥰💜

I would try putting the resin into a plastic disposable piping bag and cut a tiny little hole. It might work wonderfully! I would use a solid color with no glitter to finish the seahorse. Gorgeous job! 😍 I see a friendly dual with don for the last 2 sun catchers! 🌞 LOL 😆 The tiny spoons are on Amazon at coffee stirring spoons.

They’re nice, but I wish you would have filled in the seahorse - it kind of gets lost in there and with the dolphin I would have used a lighter blue above the waves so he would have stood out more. But to each their own; they’re cute as is too.

Thanks, I'm not familiar with that art but if there are facets on them which I think there are, you will loose the beautiful look of it and it will just look like colored mirrors under the resin. I've learned the hard way several time, even on video, by putting faceted pieces under resin to just be disappointed in the end.

I've watched and loved both sets! I do believe the hole need to be filled in and that you should put a light blue or interference blue on the back of the one with the inks during the tact time with a dry brush but it can be done after as with UV resin to cover those clear areas but had the back on that dolphin not come out so dark it would have been incredible I just adore these molds!! Id love to have an inlay of just the dolphin and turtle (hint hint😂) we need you on the colourarte team I bet I can get the owner to send you some samples if you are interested??

Oh, these turned out great! And I love the earrings and pendants. The colors are so vibrant! Question…if you covered the entire seahorse with a second color, the “scales” would still be visible, right? Just curious. Question #2…I have 4coaster molds that have raised designs. Is UV resin the only thing that I can use to color them? Thank you - this was a fun video! 🌷 ❤

I guess if I covered the first layer with a second layer, that would've worked! I didn't think of that! 2. No you don't have to just use UV, I've used regular resin in them as well, you'll just have to wait longer to finish them.
