#192. The BIGGEST Shift For RESIN ART!... A Video by Daniel Cooper
Here is a Resin Art video which I think changes a lot for resin art! I know this can be done with nail polish but I have never seen it done in this way with UV Resin and would ultimately be much cheaper than nail polish in the long run!
You could potentially pre make any color and store away for future use, again, this is still in the experimental phase, I will make some and store it away to see if it is 100% usable after storage, I can't see why it would not work! THIS IS EPIC!!!
Please do NOT experiment with products which may be dangerous if mixed with resin!

If you get green florist tape, you can just wrap them all at once, then it won’t be so bulky. When using the tape you pull slightly on it and it becomes tacky and sticks to itself. Great idea.

I’ve been using a curing lamp for over a decade doing resin nail art. I have a thin styrofoam that I’ve covered in a sheet of foil. This cures both sides at the same time as it causes the UV rays to bounce around.

I used to do wire dipped flowers back in the 70's The dipping stuff was colored and came in metal cans the looked like pint sized paint cans. I think you can still buy the stuff from china. But i used to buy it at craft stores here in the US. You would take the wire shaped like petals and dipp it, then when dry and wrap the green tape around them and a large gauge wire for a stem. I used to make them for my mother. She loved how they looked.

That glue bottle is going to last for centuries. I know it's not about the flower, but instead of having double strands of wire, you only need a couple of turns at the top, and the rest of the stem can be a single wire. This will result in a stem that's less than half the thickness. If you wrap the wires in the same direction, they will tend to nestle together. That is, the second wire goes in the gaps between the first wire's turns. Keep the winding quite open to leave room for the other wires and you won't get that bunching. You could finish off by dipping the stem in some green resin.

What an amazing thing!! First time commenting… Just a thought on assembling. If you twist off both wires of each petal then cut one off so you only have one wire to work with, it would be easier to streamline the stem. My mind is going mad with the possibilities. Love the ‘Tree of Life’ comment above. Just imagine that in autumn colours 😍

Awesome. Your experiments are money saving. You can imagine what dipping resin goes for. You are the bees knees. Just make your petals, and leaves at the top of the wire, the you only have the single wire to wrap, instead of how you were doing it. I watch a few channels that do this type of resin art. Very pretty.

WOW I've been watching your video's for the last few months to get a feel for what you can do with resin and i've just bought a resin kit, now i'm really excited to try this, brilliant, love how you push the boat out and try new things. This is fantastic and opens up a whole new world of resin creations.

Greetings from Russia =) Our masters have a similar technique - Vitral (rus. витраль). This is an original self-hardening resin. But you are the first to do this with UV resin. I love your experiments and am glad there is a new approach to decorating wire.

I am dying to do dipping resin, was about to start and see what my normal resin would do, so thank you, I’m one of those people who wants to do 1000 hobbies but I can’t be buying everything involved, so this is great, now back to my crochet 😂
