@@haydenwaits6047 not sure why you would lash valves every 500 miles with bigger cam thats about a .480 lift and i run a .575 hyd. in my street car and never once had to readjust valves after break in if running a solid lift you will lash any size alot if you drive on street

@@haydenwaits6047 yeah what he said, and even then, with stud girdles and the proper setup like we have nowadays, you're likely to adjust a solid lift a lot less than that. I know a guy who races his solid roller cammed elco every weekend, drives it to work on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and has even gone on a road trip over a couple hundred miles, and only had to adjust lash once when he had a rocker arm break, and the adjustment was when he put on the new one. Things have changed a lot over the years, brother. If everything stayed as they were decades ago, everyone would still be driving low horsepower gas guzzlers that would be lucky to see 150k miles

@@commanderdraco6989 it’s nothin special. Eagle forged bottom end with mahle pistons, stock vortec heads, Lunati roller cap with about .510 lift and 280ish duration if I remember right? 1.6 roller rockers as well. Cheap flowtech headers. She’s dialed and running right in this video.

@@katofelix9705 frankly, its just a shitty casting. Burrs everywhere. And they don't flow enough for my purpose. You can feel the power fall off at the top. Super meaty in the mid range though. Some of that is partly due to the cam, but up top, i strongly believe its the heads restricting air.

Jake Snake01 in the description I have the believed cam specs. They were lost long ago. I know it’s a Lunati grind. And I made an educated guess through their website. I have no idea what the LSA truly is. I don’t remember what my header tube diameter is. It’s not one of the larger sizes. I bought them used. They’re no names. Can’t stand them really. But they are coming out of a 3 inch collector.
