The thumbnail image kills me, lol. ❤😂 My personal favourite, for 23 years, has been the 21 Lessons of Merlyn. But I also love some of the ones you tall about here. We are indeed blessed to have so many beautiful resources.

I just want you to know how much I appreciate your learning material videos. As much as it doesn't necessarily discredit anyone else's path to work mainly intuitively, I also like having context and multiple opinions and inputs. Books are also just great because...you don't HAVE to remember everything. 😂

Great video! I'm also Canadian and joined OBOD in January, and I have begun the Bardic Course! Loving it! I had joined ADF in 2013, and OBOD is my favorite.

Aww thanks for the shout out dear! I get warm and fuzzies from hanging out with the Saplings, too 😊 Great list of resources for folks exploring Druidry.

I highly recommend the Druid's Garden, Dana Driscoll is the creator of the Tarot of Trees and Plant Spirit Oracle. She is the chosen chief of AODA (Ancient Order of Druids in America) and her blog is an excellent resource. John Michael Greer is also a prolific writer and I highly recommend the Druidry Handbook and Druid Magic Handbook. I am completing the Bardic course with OBOD and plan to continue to with the Ovate course. Its an amazing personal journey.

Thank you Jess for this very informative video. I am new on the Druidic path and to OBOD and this was very helpful to me. I too am a huge fan of the Wildwood and Greenwood Tarot and Tea with a Druid. I was very pleased to see you talk about the Welsh culture and mythos a little. I am so loving my Llewellyn Tarot and book with its Welsh myths and some other Welsh stories from some online sources. Just listening to the language moves something deep in my soul. I plan to check out the Celtic Book of Magic very soon.

Path of Druidry was the first book I picked up for Druidry and I'm just finishing it up. Thank you for the new recommendations! Already ordered Stonehenge and The Druids.

Woohoo, it took me a long time to watch this video because you kept sparking my interest and I had to immediately put all these books on my wishlist. I was just starting to research celts and druidry but had honestly no clue where to start so thank you so much. I love my practice, but I've been raised very as you would say "eclectic" and now I really wish to settle a bit on something and this could be very good for me. I'm excited to learn! (The thumbnail made me laugh so hard

These vids drive me nuts. Can't get through it without pausing it to find the material. I am a practicing druid and ALWAYS looking for more information. I'd say the greatest tool in my practice is my pendulum.

Billy, I am sorry you are frustrated, but you also must learn to look in the description boxes of videos like this. Creators like myself always list the books, websites, decks and other resources there, so if you miss the name, you can go and find it. Please try to be more resourceful like this next time.

I am feverishly interested in any information on Celtic, specifically WELSH, magic and mythology! I will look for the books you mentioned, but are there any other books you would suggest specifically on Welsh gods/goddesses/mythology??? Thanks for sharing all that you do! ~tina

As a welsh person I’d definitely recommend “The Mabinogion” stories: it ties in the welsh gods and goddesses

Well as seen from your thumbnail you'd need a TRUCK LOAD of Books to learn about Druids my people from central europe to france to UK england scotland and ireland to spain even to the balkans. Spanning from 400 CE to 2500 BCE just there.

You don't "need" them, but I'm a self-diagnosed bibliophile and book addict, so when I love a subject, I get a lot of books on the subject. Also, part of my job here on KZbin is to read and review a lot. I just wanted to be silly with the thumbnail.

hello! I don't know if you can help me but i have celtic ancestry from galicia (spain) and i was wondering if you know of a book that touches on celtic practices from this side? i search everywhere but I can't find anything :( other than that thanks a lot for your videos bc they are so so helpful and i cant wait to check the books you mentionned.

I'm sorry, I can't think of anything right now. Spain is where a lot of Celtic people came from before they settled in the British isles and mainland Europe though, so I think if you're pulling from any of those cultures and areas you're doing great.

The 21 lessons of Merlyn and it's sequel are trash and based on a fabrication that's being passed off as truth. Avoid

We know almost nothing about the druids. So, I don't think history is going to help. In fact, that's kind of the problem.
@TheStitchinWitch

We do have to start somewhere however, and when a whole spiritual movement is based on recreating or reviving an ancient order, history is the first stop. From there, once you have the best foundation you can get from the history, you build out.
