The Indians call trees the standing people, the cells of plants are similar to human. The cells of plants contain energised water, it is the best source. Being able to consume 60 % of food raw, provides a good balance of water.

I loved hearing about the responsibilities of a Druid. I was so happy to hear him talk about broadleaf reforestation. Here in Nova Scotia, we are losing so many of our forested areas and our wildlife is suffering from it. Makes my heart warm to know there are still people who care.

I visited Ireland and fell in love with it. The green, rolling hills, the sheep dotting the countryside. It is a land of poetry. I have Irish ancestry, northern Ireland, and my great great grandmother came with her 7 children across the ocean to settle in Cincinnati in the US to escape the potato famine. She was a laundress. Something practical to care for her children and earn a small income along the way. My great-grandmother was a pianist known for her Liszt. I was so happy in Ireland. Now that everyone is gone, I have so little connection to it. It's lovely to spend time listening to you and Con. Thank you.

Dear Terri, I almost forgot to say how helpful this video is for me! Just yesterday I set up a live trap like yours for a rat (who hasn't entered it yet). I saw how you bravely released the door to set him free. Well, that fortified me to handle the situation. I've released lots of mice from their little traps, but never handled the larger trap for a rat. Thank you!

Apparently rats get nervous when something new turns up and won't go near the trap for a while. We put some bait outside of it as well to get him to go closer to it. Hope you catch yours soon. And though I want to bask in your approval - it was Lol who bravely released him... not me!!😂

Wonderful interview very interesting, thank you. The origional celtic shoes and craft work are incredible. My connection to Ireland is through my mothers family, I have always had a strong spiritual connection to Ireland through their stories. My Grandmother was from County Mayo in Ballyhaunis, she moved before WW2 and then moved to New Zealand after the war with her husband and children. Her mother was still in Ballyhaunis when she moved they were the Lanigans. I was overseas with my partner before covid and we were supposed to be going to Ireland and to visit Ballyhaunis when he fell I'll and we had to return to NZ, I was gutted as I always wanted to go to Ireland and to my families home town. Anyway, loved your video and I have subcribed, I will also look at his website. Thank you for bringing Ireland to me this morning.

@@DanusIrishHerbGarden Hello, yes it was very sad. I spent my whole life hearing about my Grand mothers life going up in Ballyhaunis and my mother's, and my Great Grandmother 'Granny Lanigan. ' And my Great aunt Bridie who died of turburculoses in one of the convent schools I think at the age of 14 or maybe she was younger. I had spent my whole life waiting to go there and immerse myself in my cultural heritage, and to pay my respects to them at the graveyard in Ballyhaunis. I was very disappointed but hopefully I will have another opportunity to go sometime. It has been a life long dream to visit.

It is fascinating to me, when information comes. It must have been a celtic ancestor who, when I was setting about on my quest in my late 20s, that the wee/small/still voice inside, the body even, prompted me to shelve Christianity and to quest truth, with a mantra coming to me, truth in my spirit, truth in my mind, truth in my soul, truth in my body. A long, long, long journey of self-discovery, alchemy, and change choosing a creative path developing a sense of gifts within, rather than pursuit of money or fame. It was pursuit of truth, that brought my body healing, that and a very, very, very close relationship with mother nature, that began as a small child. About trees, I once had someone tell me on a train ride, why a particular forest had survived when a particular beetle came through and wiped out most of a particular pine. He taught me, a healthy forest is a diverse forest, in that, if something comes along, and may harm a particular type of trees, other trees stand strong, thriving. I have this felt sense, they provide the others support. So grateful for the beautiful touch of this teaching, and to meet a Celtic druid. me ke aloha nui mau loa. with great love...

Hi Terri. You tube helped me discover your channel recently and I am loving you and your content. Having been an avid gardener all my life I so resonate with your teachings. My grandmother was Yugoslavian and lived in Austria as an adult. My fondest memories are foraging in the woods with her as a small child. Thank you for being a you tube friend to so many.
