Love the x lite! On my second one first lasted 3 year's.. sim till spring then hit in a open Field..play ground.. that's a great Bird.. attenna will break eventually.. RCing SC has great video to Help replace.. not easy saldering but not hardest.. if tape radio attenna to good helps protect.. or drill holes for? Friend broke his 3 rd flight.. love Hobby! Have fun. The issue with the sim is that you need a computer that can run a sim. Not everybody has that. I didn't have anything but a Chromebook and an Iphone 8 when I started FPV.

I got the ARRIS VR-009 August last year because I'm cheap and they've been working great for what "I" need them for; which is just flying around the house and outside on the property. I put a pair of iFlight 5.8g 150mm RHCP RP-SMA's on the goggles and it's paired with an AKK A5 transmitter with the mini cam that comes with it. As long as I can see where I'm going, it works. Much OBLIGED for the video.

Could be wrong but I think it doesn't work with it since the magic is dji and the drone connects via WiFi or other digital way. This controller is analog. Also I don't think the mavic has a frsky receiver. I don't own one so I might be wrong.

You've been flying long time.cant really judge a controller because I've been flying a long time. But for a beginner this is a good controller.. Get a jumper.. goggles look great for a beginner..next Best up is a 200 or 600 DJI.. Ring? Find a gap! Send it!! Lol love FPV drone?? Build.. armatton frame.. Mamba stack. Cheap motors. Toolkit charger 100 bucks of bat (ebay) ts100 salder iron or cheap look alike. Set for a summer of fun! Armatton frames don't brake. Saldering a easy skill and nessary have fun!

You'll get a top rated bird. Cheap. I just got a hd anlog version 300 for 100 always saw but always out of stock?? So I checked everyday. Took a month.. but one day saw in stock.. and bought. I never tried the SE but I went thru 3 lite radio 3 and all had a big dead center range. Never go back to center at same number. 1 wasn't so bad so I kept it. But it broke few months later. Got T-lite that is working and centers pretty perfect.

Tello is overrated. Too many things can go wrong and they do go wrong every time. The signal is terrible. Standard WIFI controlled drones are not good. You want something that is all radio controlled. No WIFI involved at all.

Don't get the tello if you want a good birthday or drone. Get the dji mini2 if you want an inexpensive but well working camera drone. If you want to fly fpv and are a beginner get a cinewhoop or tinywhoop and maybe a simulator to practice on. Happy Birthday 🎂 🥳

RX loss is something that happens after you bind and your antennas are damaged. If no RX, then obviously no binding has occured.

For beginners, get whatever you can afford (ANALOG or DIGITAL). The controller and goggles would work with the 95X as long as you place an FRSKY XM+ receiver in the drone upon ordering.

You always buy a RECEIVER in a drone that is compatible with the radio you own. You seem to be doing this backwards. So if you owned a TRANNIS radio, you'd always buy a drone with FRSKY receivers. If you owned a SPEKTRUM radio, you'd always buy a drone with a Spektrum receiver. If you plan on using all types of receivers, then you buy a RADIOMASTER TX16S or RADIOMASTER ZORRO.

I think the firefly drone you’re speaking of uses an ELRS receiver… unless they make an FRSKY receiver version. The BETAFPV goggles should work with an ANALOG drone and I think the BETAFPV radio is FRSKY D8… but they could have updated it, so I don’t know. When you are looking for a drone to buy, if the drone has an ANALOG camera then any ANALOG FPV goggles will work. Next you have to see what RECEIVERS are available in the drone. You then match the RECEIVER type to a radio type, so if it is an ELRS Receiver than you need an ELRS Radio.

i new fpv and i got the version 1 of the goggles with the lite controller 2 .and the version 1 goggles take a micro sd card to record the flight ,plus they got two external antennas which i was able to upgrade to foxeer antennas .its crazy they removed them two features it in the newer version ..it seems a big downgrade

hi gang! i just bought the new betafpv radio lite 2 SE to training myself on liftoff but it dosn't work! ( i am on macboock pro 10.14.6 ) when i plug it in, my mouse become crasy! so someone tell me to try a 9 in 1 or 22 in 1 ,usb cable flightsimulator dongle with a 3,5mm jack , so my mouse stay as a mouse 😁, and in liftoff, it recognize a ppm controller... Hall effects I would say are the Best. They last the Longest. One other type.. can't recall name? They work by mechanical means. Hall sensor uses electronic means why last longer. Killing can't remember name??lol

The JUMPER T18 has gimbals which are better than Hall effect gimbals.

Sounds like you did not set up the ARM or FLIGHT MODES in BETAFLIGHT.

The Goggles are ANALOG which means they do not work with DIGITAL HD.

Yes, as long as you have a compatible receiver in the 65s.

Maybe a stupid question but do the googles connect to different transmitters? Would they display the output from my DJI mini 2 or is that only by using the horrendously expensive DJI specific goggles? I would still used the tablet but wondering if the googles pick up on radio wave frequency passively

Googles are for the FPV hobby and not the camera drone hobby (DJI MINI 2 is a camera drone)
