They are indeed utterly fascinating. I probably haven't seen all of them, but have the overwhelming majority. Since growing up in the mid-50s-early 60s, I was fascinated with all things Egyptian, and is the main reason for my majoring in History at the Citadel. Thanks for refreshing my memory.

The Sphinx has been under many feet of sand even in C. 1000 BC and dug out and buried again.

Do archeologists especially the main steam ones like Grahm Hancock believe that the Sphinx was buried from the global catastrophe that happened between 10 and 12 thousand years ago?

I think it's generally accepted that the sands will cover everything given enough time
