This is not how a tap and die set is used. Chasing threads is done with...wait for it...a thread chaser. The former cuts new threads and the latter straightens boogered threads. There's a difference. No new threads were cut in unthreaded material in this video, which is the actual purpose of a tap and die set. And don't use a little oil; use a lot of oil with steel. Take a look at a video of a machinist cutting threads to get an idea of what's involved. It's not necessarily an easy process. From what I've seen, many home shop guys on KZbin don't really know what they're doing. Good luck.
