This is an outstandingly clean looking boat. I love how the bars for the hard top are white instead of the normal aluminum look. Damn that center console is to die for. The displays are laid out well. I had a 2870 Pursuit that I kept on the Great Lakes in the early 2000's. Wish I still had it, miss it a lot.

@williamkunte53617 жыл бұрын
Wtf!! 300 gallons cannot be ruined so fast! Not that much guys. Maybe 100 but definitely not 300! A Toyota Corolla gets average 30mpg on highway. This boat is liken to a higway as it doesn't stop much and can go full throttle. Plus a boat gets like 20mpg so if he did 300 gallons he could literally go full throttle for at least 8hrs non stop.. And he'd cross the Atlantic.
@Jasonrotfl7 жыл бұрын
well yachts of this size usually get about 1 mpg and you corolla is not powered by 3 supercharged corvette engines, so I don't think that figure of 300 gallons on a fishing trip is too far off.

I see guys out at the Canyon all the time in these massive center consoles, there's even a guy in my marina that has a ridiculously large Intrepid. Sure, they can cruise at 60+ when I'm barely cranking 30 at 2300. However I burn next to nothing compared to what they're spending, and I have a saloon, an air conditioned one at that; oh yeah and 2 staterooms, a full size head and shower, galley, and a generator to run it all. I can spend the weekend out there lounging in the chair with more lines in the water when these guys are sleeping on hard fiberglass getting soaked. When the Mid Atlantic is on and the forecast is 6' - 10', they're not making anywhere close to 60, in fact they're probably not even leaving the slip. For serious blue water fishing, there's nothing better than a convertible.

HAHA Yeap! Two years ago I'm headed out to the 40 fathom line and it's pretty snotty out. About a quarter mile in front of me I see this huge center console barely moving. It looked like a new Fountain 38, with 3 Verados hanging off the back. He's plowing through the waves getting soaked and I'm watching TV with my feet up on the bridge. When I pass him, the look on their faces was priceless, and they didn't even wave back LOL. Crazy thing is, I bet that fountain cost as much as my 10 year old Ocean.

Seven Marine has now begun offering its mega-power outboard motors with a Volvo Penta DuoProp gearcase and a suite of Volvo Penta technology. Those Duo Props would improve this boat tremendously. Quicker planning, more torque trust, better fuel economy, more range, better control at low speeds. For this boat I would recommend the 527's instead of those 627's. With Duo Props of course.

smart build. 3 LS3 supercharged motors...... the LS3 is super reliable, and reliable to the 650hp range supercharged in a Corvette. Throw in the fact they built them for marine use, and built them for the superchargers...... That's pure reliable power. WOW. These motors may outlast that fiberglass..... That is how good the motor platform is.
@AdventureStreamingGuys6 жыл бұрын
TripleAstyle1 A the technology is amazing. Thx for the comment.

im sure they have a reason...maybe to keep power off a toggle not being used, as in your design if only using 2 engines, just a guess though...the engines may have such sensitive or expensive sensors and crap its just a redundancy built in for extra protection...they build like that on Navy and other US military boats

Matt...since my friend is the owner, i don't know all the details of the 7 Marine components and don't want to make up an answer for you.
@hv93567 жыл бұрын
@Matt Sedgwick I would say 3 motors offers the redundancy you are looking for. The boat will plane off with just one motor to 20 or 25 mph. 2 motors will probably push the boat to 60. These are V8 engines with grunt, not the 2 stroke screamers I have, which are very weight sensitive...

if you watch the part where we go BFT fishing, there is a guy loading one of the fish holds with ice in the bow, he is 6'2", You could put 20 tuna in there. I've skippered 3 different ribs with the fastest being twin 250's but much lighter vessel then yours obviously. If i ever win the lottery i might shout you a few rums to help me design something similar lol. Beautiful boat guys, enjoy. Ps if you guys win lotto, and feel like donating a boat to a fella who only owns a canoe at the moment. Well I'd be absolutely wrapped lol. Cheers ✌

Please start taping AFTER THEY WASH THE BOAT!! Otherwise I find this Yellowfin disappointing. The layout is not optimized. 1,880 horses is way overkill for a boat of this size, unless you're one of those who have to have the biggest motors to make up for other shortcomings. Look at the tiny size of the hatch for the catch bin (yeah I know there are others on the deck but cmon!). And like others have stated, where's the rigging station and why would it be an option on a fishing machine? Cool looking boat but I'm not a fan of this model.
@AdventureStreamingGuys5 жыл бұрын
good feedback, on the options, it is give and take since you only have so much room, especially if you want extra fuel tanks
@treydrier31695 жыл бұрын
@@AdventureStreamingGuys ahhhhhh...yes the fuel tanks for the 1,880 horses. I would guess if you go with 3 Yamaha 350's or even the new 450's you'd have more room for other options. That's probably more realistic for a fishing/family center console.
@AdventureStreamingGuys5 жыл бұрын
@@treydrier3169 I think it all depends on the fishing grounds you have to travel to. Remember in New England you have to travel 60-100+ miles one way to the Canyons....so boats are also set up for regions.

To much weight on back of boat. Observe how the boat is porpoising when she’s opened up. And his trim was completely down. Also 80mph is to fast for her, hence more porpoising.
@erikb88775 жыл бұрын
Almost nothing is more annoying than porpoising. It is controllable with add-ons but that would only be masking a flaw in the build/setup

the whistle sound was fixed in about 10 mins, tensioner adjustment when the belt was taken off for some maintenance ...no issues

I think you'll find MOST livewells are "air-infused". Or WATER-infused. Hence the name LIVEwell. First time fishing?

lol
@belikebobb7 жыл бұрын
Actually some guys add oxygen tanks to supply extra oxygen to the livewells hence air-infused to keep baits more lively but I guess you do know everything.

39 foot boat. Fuel efficiency of a 100 ft boat. Fish ability of a 12 ft boat. Tons of wasted space for "primarily an offshore fishing boat" look at that rear seating. Totally wastes cockpit space

peterk814 look again bud there's no rear seats that's what we call a coaming bolster

how does it have 3 engines, but only two controls? in a plane there is one for each engine, is it not the same here? I have only driven single engine boats
@AdventureStreamingGuys6 жыл бұрын
usually one of the outside engines( i.e. Port) are a slave to the center, and other control is for the Stbd engine. When you put one control in fwd and other in rev, the center ending stays in neutral.
