My parents bought one of these in early 2000s in the north of France when I was 3 or 4. I remember my family playing all night long during Christmas, every sound of this machine is printed in my head and in my heart, best memories of my childhood, thank you for your video!

I have fond memories of playing this in the arcade at DePaul University in Chicago, IL in 1988. I was dating a girl there at the time, and she and I wandered through the arcade and she said "Yoo-hoo, party animal!!!!!"

First pinball I ever owned.. regretting hard I sold it for $400 in mid 90s to a cabinet maker for his kids. At the time I ddnt know how to fix them and there wasn't any online resources like great ones we have now. Thanks for the memories

I remember loving this game when I was a kid, must have been 7 or 8 the first time I played it, but I loved the music and the drums rolling when you start the game, the guy saying "How ya dooin?" etc, classic, the sounds of my childhood spent in the Aladdin's Castle arcade!

So about the...ahem...contact cleaner. Do I need to take the sound board out and be careful where I get the cleaner or can I just apply it in place and the excess will evaporate? I've already got sound and display working right again thanks to your video!

Todd, your tip to clean and adjust the pot, noted at VR1 on the sound board, just helped me recover my sound on this game! You are a credit to the Pinball hobby. Your youtube channel is always my first stop before buying any pinball machine.

I wanted to research this pin, and here you are giving a tip on a Bally volume pot, the same tip you gave me on my Speakeasy. Wow, what are the chances. Maybe I should back up and watch all your videos. Oh, by the way, great video on the Party Animal, very informative.

Thank you so much for this video. I changed the battery on mine and I thought I'm supposed to configure something since it doesn't work anymore.

Neat looking game. I was just having a discussion with someone about this particular table. Does the head on this particular game fold down? Someone told me that every Bally game after Flash Gordon has that feature. Love the videos sir. Hope to run into you at Pinfest this year.

I just bought a Party Animal..the left flipper is stuck so I'm gonna guess I need the rebuild kit with a new coil??..Also the digital display waves when I plugged it in?? I found a broke fuse holder with a 3amp fuse coming off the transformer what does it go to??..I didn't see a battery in the upper right corner but I'll look again. Any advice on this machine would be greatly appreciated

I found the battery in the upper right corner of the back box..so I'm no expert but it looks like it's soldered in..or is it held in by the two connections??..Should I attempt to replace it or is not needed for play..I'm gonna guess again that it's to hold the memory of the high scores??

never knew that these late 80s Bally machines had this keyboard control.
@tntamusements11 жыл бұрын
It was used in perhaps 10 games total...I think only the last two games moved the controls completely to the "initials" buttons on the sides of the cabinet, which was even easier!

So was Party Animal the only machine that used the keypad? I don't recall ever seeing one of those in any of the games I've worked on over the years. How do you remember the specific numbers and whatnot?The game looks pretty neat
@tntamusements9 жыл бұрын
+Jetrulez15 There were p[erhaps 7 games that used it..starting with 8 Ball Champ and I think ending with the game before Escape from the Lost World.

I bought this pin recently and love it, but now I’m getting check fu-1 or field fuse error, and the ball is not firing out in the shooter lane. I checked both fuses and they seem fine. I replaced the solenoid and diode to the trough fired up fine, then once again back to the same error. Have you had any errors like this before? Do you think this is opto issue? Great video by the way and any help will greatly appreciated!
@tntamusements6 жыл бұрын
could be a cold solder connection on power supply. I am guessing you checked the fuse actually under the playfield too?
@Breaks19806 жыл бұрын
TNT Amusements Inc yes I also checked the fuse under playfield and it checked out fine. I noticed when I have all 3 balls out and it reads 3 missing balls. Once I feed each ball through one by one, and then start it up. It fires the ball into the trough. This will allow a game or two before reading the error check fu-1 or playfield fuse. I’ll check solder as you stated, from the power supply. Thank You

Do you know if the flippers should be live before the game starts? My Party Animal is blowing the 1 Amp under board fuse when it switches on and the flippers are always live, wondering if they're causing the coils to ground and blow!? :/ Any help would be appreciated! Thanks :)
@tntamusements7 жыл бұрын
frequently, plugs are in wrong on the logic board...ice cold header pins, leaky battery in the past has done trace damage, 5 volts from power supply wrong--capacitors dying, just to start!

Where Is the knocker?
@tntamusements6 жыл бұрын
I think they mounted it actually on the front side of the playfield, near flippers....not on the bottom! .cannot remember...
@Titanic42 жыл бұрын
@@tntamusements The knocker in this game is actually mounted on the under side of the playfield, near the front left corner of the cabinet. This placement has a side effect of the left side vibrating every time the knocker fires. You can actually see it as Todd lifts the playfield to show the woofer in the cabinet @ 7:10 mark of the video
