Amazing what the Lord does in our lives! God loves us very much that even if we dont understand His will, He continues patiently to follow us .. I've been on both sides of this fence about SDA for several years, and you sound just like me. But recently God gave me a dream about SDA to help me focus on the vast riches he has deposited into them over the many decades. For the past five years he has led me from time to time through difficult transitions by giving me comforting dreams with simple imagery, confirmed by scripture. It's easy to find fault with SDA without really giving them the time and due diligence required to really know for sure what they do and don't teach, regarding Babylon and other things. Even people who have spent their whole lives in SDA are still learning new things about what God has done in this church. So, give them a fair shake? After five years, I'm coming back.
