Hello Mark, Something fascinating about the new covenant … Hebrews 8:10 “For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.” God wants to write His law on our hearts. We are saved by grace. No one has ever been saved by their works. God has only and always had one way to save mankind "the everlasting gospel" Do we still have sin in the world today? How does the Bible define sin? It says sin is lawlessness, breaking God's law. 1 John 3:4 It's clear from the Bible, Matthew 1:21 that Jesus came to save us from sin and he intends to, with our cooperation remove sin from our lives. He intends to give us victory over every sin that besets us. He will not leave us in the same mess He found us in. It's unbiblical to think God saves us and then leaves us to stay in bondage to sin. So if I know that stealing is a sin and I refuse to stop where does that leave me? In rebellion. Rev. 3:5 is clear, "He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life…" A true saving relationship with Christ leads to a life of obedience to His commands and that includes His Ten Commandments. This is evidence of walking with Christ, not something we do to earn salvation. The Sabbath is a gift of resting in Christ, and the Bible gives us abundant evidence to pinpoint that day. The Scripture is also clear, there is another power that has attempted to change that day of rest and it will lead to a final choice for mankind in the end. Worship God according to His Commandments or Worship the beast on the day he has chosen. I hope that helps clarify the issues. I became Seventh Day Adventist from Pentecostal church... I still love and respect them because God made them part of my journey.... About the Sabbath if it was just about a Day called 7th and 1st then any discussions about the Sabbath and Sunday would not be Relevant... There is a Bigger Picture and that's what we are discussing now... If you went Starbuck order a Latte or Expresso the Worker will ask... Which one do you want? Your reply, "What difference does it make both are just Coffee... that clerk will look at you funny, may call you crazy too... The Truth is Yes, they are both coffee but the One whose mixing the drinks need to know which Tastes you want to Mix in order to Taste like a True latte or expresso... God is the one who creates the Mixture like the Worker is the one ask you to choose latte or expresso. You can take the ingredients and make your own latte or expresso at home but it want taste like the Starbucks.... If there is a God there is a Devil with the opposite... The 10 Commandments is still relevant today by most Christians, Thou Shalt not Steal, Lie, etc. However, when you focus on the 4th Commandment most people want to cut it out like its not relevant. Most Christians are called Christians because they follow in the steps and teaching of Christ, Jesus. So, if you want to be like Christ follow what He followed Do what He do and his disciples... I'm not only Worshipping on Saturday Sabbath, I'm keeping the same day Jesus Christ kept also As far as the Taste of the coffee Expresso or Latte God did the mixture for the 7th day Sabbath, He put 3 Ingredients in that day that He didn't do for any of the other 6 days, He Rested, Santified, Blessed it. It was not Starbucks Latte or Expresso but it was good. I read somewhere it said , " On Taste and see that the Lord is Good" Also, They that worship me must Worship me Must Worship me in Spirit & Truth. God put them both Together to have a Godly Worship Experience Bro. Willie Texas

The joyful manner in which you present the Sabbath Day of God, as a gift to humans, should be noticed by all. Good day. I love the topic and what y'all said. I'm a Seventh day Adventist myself. They are people leaving the church today saying that when Jesus said It Is Finished on the cross, everything like the ten commandments and the Sabbath was done away with. I am even asked if we are under the law still with Exodus 31:13-17. I don't know how to reply

Hi Sister - I used to wrestle with that question, but finally figured it out. When Paul tells us we are no longer under the law, he meant "no longer under the curse of the Law". So, if we are "under the law", we are under its curse because we have not trusted in Jesus' to save us from the curse. Our law breaking put us under a curse, so we were "under the Law." Once you trust Jesus, you're under grace, and not a curse anymore! Thus if you are abiding in Jesus, you are not under the law, but under grace of being given forgiveness and the power to overcome.
