It's been very recent since I discovered the fact that there are short horror movies available for free on KZbin. Now, this is what I watch every night before sleeping. And no, they don't really cause any nightmares, I just watch them at night since the effects are spookier. Well done on this fantastically spooky horror movie!

My only complaint is that it was often too dark to make out anything in the scene. If your main character is going to be wearing all black, dealing with an all black monster, then at least have enough light on set to be able to make out what it is. You don't need spotlights, but it's not scary if I can't see anything that's happening. Other than that, I think it was a good short.

One fine night (almost a year ago) my bedroom door unlocked itself and opened up all the way back (actually around 3am also, more or less). Back then i didn't believe in any of this stuff, so i thought it was a *WTF moment* but with "some sort of explanation" (don't we always think that!?). But the reason *really* was paranormal. It escalated from there on and today i don't even find those things strange anymore.

i have noticed some common features in each horror short movies. first: the characters are living alone. And usually there is one character in each movie. second: the houses are super large with lots of rooms. Third: always the lights are off. i don't know what is their problem with lights on.🤣 four: All of them at first are searching for some strange sounds and movements and finally something strange catches them and the film gets over. and we never know what actually happens to them at the end. 😁

I would strongly recommend adjusting your black levels during color grading. Everything looked very murky in the latter half here. If you want to play with light and shadow, the shadows have to be DARK to create contrast. I also feel that the story needed some kind of setup for character or story. It felt like just random things happening without any context. This had some potential, though.

I literally went through this a few months ago. For no reason I would wake up at 3 a.m and would be scared like hell later my friend told that 3 a.m is demonic hour . Shit I didn't even know. Later he also told me don't leave any chairs at your room empty try to keep some bags or some luggage on it. And yes it did work, I had a good sleep after doing that. Seriously don't know what earthly connection is there between empty chair and waking up at 3 a.m. or it's purely my psychology God only knows
@mysterylovescompany26575 жыл бұрын
Maybe it's an energy flow thing in some spiritual discipline your friend knows. Like feng shui, that sort of thing. Or alternatively, maybe he just thinks you'll be safer if nothing sapient and unpleasant has anywhere to sit and look at you while you sleep (I'm so sorry, I'm not trying to spook you and suggest that that's what I personally think, I'm just saying that maybe that was *your friend's* reasoning for giving you that advice). People believe all sorts of random ephemera, especially around the creepier spectrum of human experience. I myself grew up in a house where we still covered all the mirrors in anticipation of any death about to occur, dimmed the lighting, and then stopped the clocks (the household going digital did *not* end that custom, which surprised me) and flung open the window at the end of the hall, immediately upon the moment of passing. It was explained to me as helping to guide the newly-freed soul out of the house; we covered the clocks and mirrors so it wouldn't get distracted and trapped, and made the open window the brightest, most attention-grabbing thing around so that it would make straight for that and find its way safely outside. It sounds really superstitious, but once I started looking into it, after moving out to my own place, I found out that that's actually a really common cluster of customs and belief. Don't get too wigged out by your nighttime awakenings experience now that it's over, just be glad for your return to normal sleep patterns - and that your friend wants to help in looking out for you. :-)

This video is giving me a goosebumps, i always wake up at 3 am.. I dont know why.. And im hearing weird noises in my window.. Kinda scary...
@behappyyy89254 жыл бұрын
I heard and read that 3 am is the witching time. They say Jesus died at 3 pm. Demons like switching things opposite way. Opposite of 3pm is 3 am. Not only 3 am but from 12 am until before 4 am. When the sun is asleep. Witches, ghost and demons appear strongest at this time. Also black magic is strongest at this time so spirits like lurking in the dark and most quiet corners. Humans appear weakest at this time because they are asleep or just awake but tired. So these bad entities attack at this time when they are most active.
@behappyyy89254 жыл бұрын
I do too wake up many times at 3 am. I'm a believer of Jesus Christ and when I pray and command the demons to go away when they try scaring me and tell them they have no authority over me because I am more powerful than them because Jesus is in my heart they go away and leave. Try praying and asking Jesus' protection, guidance, to embrace you and keep you company everyday forever. One thing people don't know is that even if the physical body of a person in general may be weak, if the soul has Jesus' holy spirit in it, it is very strong and powerful because you walk with Jesus in your heart, mind, soul and spirit when you believe in Him so there is no way a devil or demon can enter it. It cannot stand a body who is covered by Jesus' protection! It looks for a body who loves the devil instead and enters it. Ghosts and bad entities will fall at its feet and go away if you believe and accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Anyway, I've seen ghosts before many times, heard and felt them myself but God has stayed with me through it all and I call "Jesus!" one time when it tried to attack me (a dark shadow with long hands and nails trying to hold me down while sleeping I could not move or talk... I woke up because of it.. and then in a second it left when I shouted "Jesus!". It tried to shut me up at first but I managed to say Jesus' name. It went away. Jesus is more powerful than any dark force in this planet. I recommend you to pray to Jesus.

Great concepts, the direction and acting is really good. The concept of the lights getting on from one side to the other after switching off is scary, as if he is being guided towards the presence of the ghost. Great creativity. You have to be given award, that you make even the alarm clock scary.. Superb movie, expect more from you.

I agree, the lights and music on the film are great, but they kind of exagerated the ghost, something more subtle could of being scarier. Cool story, though.

I found it odd that he is packing his suitcase in the dark when there is clearly electricity. If the power is supposed to be out you should show that by him trying to turn on the light. Otherwise an Okay short.
