We don’t talk enough about the audacity of two 17-year-olds in their first Olympics rolling out in a short program and doing a flawless throw triple salchow directly into flawless side by side triples with perfect timing. As their opening move. Like, lol, what?! Yes the rest of their skating showed how young they were but you can’t argue with that technical acuity.
