It’s a shame when banks and insurance companies can afford to build huge buildings like this… that should give you an indication of how much you’re being overcharged.
@acc36502 ай бұрын
Shame on you for paying it if you think you are overcharged, you can choose another company right?
@dougmarshall40102 ай бұрын
There’s no such thing as “overcharging” in a market based economy. If companies start overcharging, they lose customers. The market charges what the customer is willing to pay. The only time there is consistent overcharging is if there is collusion and price fixing between companies which is illegal. This is in a market segment with few suppliers that dominate the market. This usually results in anti-trust action against these companies. Actions and huge penalties by the EU against Apple, Google and Microsoft who dominate their segments attest to this.

Drove out to Westbury to see how he was and I walk in the house and there’s Uncle Al in the kitchen with Kenny and his wife and he’s talking about unretireing to go back to work on repairing the damage caused by the truck bomb. Uncle Al seriously wanted to get back to work on the building after retiring at 66. Being an iron worker is like being in the marines, once an iron worker always as iron worker!

So...they lower the window panel (on the crane) through a hole...to unhook it....then the crane comes over the edge....they hook it up and it pulls the panel out to the edge for it to be installed. Why? Why does the crane not just lower it over the edge in the first place as its already hooked up and that's where it's going to end up??? There's obv a reason but......??
