I prefer the message of Superman appearing less scary to the public because Superman is a HUMBLE boy scout and doesn't need to think about looking "Cool". Style isn't what makes a person it's their actions that define them.

I think the color grading is made to have Superman and the heroes look more SUPER in general, like you’re plopping them into the real world And I LOVE that! It’s not like Man of Steel where the Justice League feel at home in the world, it makes the heroes feel HEROIC!

James Gunn's directing Superman, making you feel like wind's hitting your face evokes Sam Raimi & Mark Webb's ability to make you feel like you're swinging around New York with Spider-Man in their films. This has me pumped. I feel like this movie will give little Timmy that same feeling I felt watching Spider-Man as a kid, pure astonishment and wonder. Defining a character for a generation, hopefully.

Gunn talks about the 70s a lot. The decade he spend his adolescents and preteens in. His core memories. Now that I found that out in recent interviews about the DCU. Helped make sense why his style is the way it is. A modern 70s style aesthetic in his films. Even what he's wearing the small vid that came out with the teaser for the teaser trailer, he's wearing a 70s style sports coat. Each of his movies as this modern 70s touch. The Suicide Squad has this heavy modern 70s style, and I think Superman will have the most we will see. I like it. it fits well in CBMs, it is very comic booky. I'm excited for a better tomorrow.

I think the smart thing for Gunn to do is use the trailers as sort of a post credit scene let the trailers for the next movie bridge the gap for certain movies. I think tht would be a cool thing to do nd set them apart. I think the movies should connect cause tht would be the way to keep the audience wanting more

People complained that the MCU color grading looks too gray and dull, now people complain that DC is looking too saturated and contrasted.. I dunno I get that might not be everybody’s cup of tea but people are gonna complain about everything all the time, I think they are going for a retro almost technicolor style and while they could have chosen better crowd shots for the mini teaser I don’t think that’s gonna hindered general audiences enjoyment if the script and acting is good.
