The time traveling ball pit could actually be really good for a horror adaptation. The story is basically, this kid goes to a pizza restaurant pretty much every day in the summer, and it turns out to be a rebranded Freddy Fazbears restaurant with a ball pit in the back. The kid goes in, travels back to 1985 and witnesses the murders of the five children and a creepy ass golden Bonnie chases him back to the future. It’s in the first Fazbear Frights book, and it’s the first short story. It’s actually one of the best short stories and it isn’t too long. There’s a lot more to it and I didn’t want to spoil it if you wanted to read it, but you should if you get the chance because the other two stories in that book are also great.

The only spin-offs I feel that would actually fit in the movie universe (with everything we know so far) it's either a Fredbear's show about Afton and how he became a killer or a Fnaf 4-esque show centered around young Vanessa having nightmares of the MCI. Also maybe a Five Nights at Candy's spinoff would work since it has easier connections to what happens in Fnaf 2, but they might also need to either justify how Mike gets married to Marylin (the protagonist of that fangame series, who is married to Mike Smith in the story and that ties back to an important event related to the Puppet) between movies or just get Marylin to be on her own for the time being.

If there were a Candy’s spin-off, I feel like in theory there would also be a Popgoes spin-off since they come from the same boat (starting of as fan games to becoming part of the fanverse and also having a literal timeline connection.) I guess the issue with that would the Popgoes Purple Guy is Simon. Perhaps they could override Simon with William or separate Simon into being a separate killer (pink guy theory if you will) and meet a different fate from being spring locked.

Simon, the whole Fritz plot (would depend on what happens in the sequel), the connection to the toys and a lot more would just not sit well with what the movie universe as established, plus they would also need to do a huge age gap to justify the advance on technology.

I really hope they don't take FNAF and milk it dry before it even got going. Each FNAF game is only like 1 hour long with 5 minutes worth of cutscenes per game. On the other hand, the FNAF books have large amounts of filler and ridiculous sci-fi shenanigans. I don't believe any of the stories or characters in the FNAF universe are deep enough to carry entire spinoff films on their own. Expanded material would be best served as short films and canon trailers. I really hope that Scott Cawthon takes the same approach as the games and enforces a firm divide in quality between mainline movies and any expanded material. The mainline movies should receive the most polish and care while anything extra should be treated like a straight-to-DVD Disney sequel at worst.

Second movie should be mostly the second game since first movie actually ended up being a really streamlined first game adaption (so definitely young Vanessa and the kids, and William Afton under another fake name, I think it's implied he's the day shift security guard during game 2 in 1987 after being let go from the company in the early 80's. Just posing as security to continue his murders, which causes the building to go under lockdown on one of the nights and his position to "open up" supposing his true identity was found out. Sounds like the right way to go and the prequel thing could maybe also help to bring new people in without being overwhelming) Third movie should be mix of Third game and Sister Location

Here's my thought process if they're not making a anthology series, and if they are trying to make every game in some way... Fnaf movie 2 includes the animatronics from fnaf 2 with Mike or vannesa or Abby having the fnaf 4 nightmares Then fnaf movie 3 is basically just a Springtrap movie (so fnaf 3) with a tease of sister location at the end In my head the most likely thing they would do next for is either making a fnaf movie 4 or a straight to streaming sister location movie, although to keep things fresh I would say that half of the movie is fnaf 5 with the rest being fnaf 6 and it ending on a cliffhanger with William Afton in hell. Then I'd say that help wanted would probably not be a good movie, but the best I could come up with is a one hour straight to streaming special. Then security breach or in this case fnaf movie 6 should probably seem like a grand finale but it ending on a cliffhanger as we see Cassie step into the ruined pizza Plex Then a straight to streaming special for ruin And some random ass Fredbears family dinner thing in there. (Also security breach could work as a 6-8 episode TV show with season 2 being ruin.) Help wanted 2 can be like some offhand reference like someone sees an ad and says: they made a second one? (Although I don't really understand help wanted 2 lore) The rest depends on how fast steel wool can pump out these games Tldr: more freddy faz balls on the big screen= good

This is part one of two comments, I had a lot of thoughts. A FNaF Origins story is something the fans have really wanted for years, so much so that there have been many Fredbear’s fan games and it’s something Steel Wool Studio (the team behind the recent FNaF games) has been teasing they’ll explore or at the very least, really want to explore with Fall Fest. I’d understand if an origin story was made in the film medium before the game medium since there aren’t many game loops that immediately come to mind. Obviously the game and movie continuities are very different so my concern isn’t that we won’t get one if we get the other, my concern would be that if the hypothetical FNaF Origin movie isn’t absolutely banging, that the inciting incident that fans have wanted to know about for years isn’t well executed, that would be really bad for the franchise. If you made it this far, I’d like to let you know that there’s a Fantastic Four film that was made legally and released illegally. I found out about this because of GodzillaMendoza and I think it’s very interesting especially after with recent locking away of films. Would like 3C to check it whenever he does an all Fantastic Four movies review in the lead up to the MCU Fantastic Four.

Robot Hospital?, OH YEAH... you mean...THE MECHANIC! knowing the lore of the 1-3 games becoming the 1-3 movies here is summed up lore of them linking to sister location, fnaf 4, and pizzeria simulator here's a summary- so I don't remember this guy's name so I'ma just say 3C can understand some of the video game lore. FNAF game franchise summed lore- The animatronics haunt the 1st location in the first game but before it is FredBear's this is where the success started and also a tragedy William loses his youngest son gruesomely to his own creation but William Afton and Henry Emily grow branching a new business the 1st location and in here jealous of it kills Henry Emily's daughter getting back later William Afton makes new location Sister Location his daughter always listens except one time getting too close dying by Circus Baby William sees this too late shuts down Sister location at same time luring the animatronics from 1st location out turning them to remnant when there's no more animatronics and just the ghosts of the kids they come for William and he is springlocked in his own suit the Spring Bonnie suit a.k.a. in the movie Yellow Bunny. 30 years later fazbear frights open in an unopened pizzeria the one William is in and reopens as a haunted house attraction covering the lore as attraction Michael Afton the oldest son after hallucinating nightmares from game 4 and finding out what William did in the 1st 2nd and 5th game comes to the setting of the third finding him to burn him to set the kids free and end what William caused. Both survive where Henry comes back out of nowhere -plot hole- with Michael bringing ALL the animatronics before and during the old locations to all burn to end it all. In UCN we play as William in his purgatory facing his nightmares but escaping found by the only living person left his wife stuck inside not an animatronic but so-long possessed it his spirit went into the circuits of a chip inside where she turns any remains of the animatronics using the circuits to make a vr experience game saying all fake never happened trying to piece back her family. She makes new animatronics with a team and reopens Fazbear Entertainment as a new brand where the party goes to you to make more money when she succeeds she opens the mall in security breach hiring Vanessa brainwashing her as her clone daughter of her and William's daughter doing this also rebuilds Gregory but his code malware's Glamrock freddy Michael is back as Glamrock she has her family back for brief moment as she also has found William as springtrap charging him up but burnt becomes Burntrap. Soon after lost and destroyed gregory left and escaped. A mechanic from security breach creates the ai of the animatronics one sentient the Mimic wakes and takes new kills and haunts the bottom of the mall as the tech within it something hides as augmented behind vanny mask lured Charlie -not the one from earlier games but in RUIN- comes to rescue Gregory but in the end finds she wasn't lured by the mimic. Going and recalling every moment back of what happened and could do in the mall we find vanny is still here -this is to VR 2- now there are only the wife Mrs Afton, Gregory, Glamrock Freddy, RUIN Charlie, Burntrap, The Mimic, The Blob, and Vanny -formerly "in game Vannesa"-. Wherever the story goes were all caught up now waiting for the Into The Pit game for video game story and 2nd movie for films story.

Before I share my thoughts in this pitch, I want it to be clear that I wouldn’t want this to be in the FNaF movie continuity or any other continuity, just that it be in it’s own continuity. I think that a single season show adaptation of the FNaF book The Silver Eyes would be a nice idea! Just the first book, unless the FNaF movies take a polarizing direction, then we’ll talk about adapting the rest of the trilogy and also Plushies take Manhattan. From what I’ve heard, the first book is generally well liked and I think that the main crew of characters can really shine in a season of television since vocal fans hate the books for what they may indicate for the games. I heard some people say that they don’t think the Silver Eyes should be adapted because the FNaF movie was a mix of elements from the books and games and while there were parts that were direct references to the books like hiding behind the arcade from foxy or the animatronics not attacking Spring Bonnie/ The Yellow Rabbit because they think it’s their friend and dragging him out, there are more things besides that stuff that makes the book’s story. Like, there’s much more to the Thor: God of Thunder comic than what made it into Thor: Love and Thunder. As a side note, a 30 minute animated short film directly adapting the original game and the original horror that comes with losing phone guy, the only person keeping you from feeling alone in this already horrible situation would be great. Back to the Silver Eyes pitch, I believe the only animatronics in that first book are in the FNaF movie so Blumhouse wouldn’t have to spend more money on new animatronics for this.
