Hello I’m working on 3D modeling and animation. I know for most firearms there usually is one bullet. For the shotgun is there multiple pellets or one billet that usually comes out of the barrel after pulling the trigger?

Hello, it depends. Shotguns can shoot all kind of ammunition. From many small pellets (called birdshot), big pellets (called buckshot) to one solid projectile (called shotgun slug). For hunting small game and shooting clay pigeons (sport shooting like skeet and trap) small pellets are used. For bigger game hunting and self defense / police / military buckshot and shotgun slugs are used. Hope that helps.

Ya if ur talking about like a pistol rifle or shotgun like pistols and rifles shoot 1 and u have to manually cock it but if it’s an automatic than all u have to do is reload but there is two kinds of shotgun shells buckshot and slug buckshot shoots every where and is used for hunting and stuff while slug is used for home defense and police work
