With this easy after effects tutorial you will learn all the basics of a 3d camera track / tracking in After Effects with the built in "3d camera tracker"
Learn how to set up a scene, apply the effect and work with it.
Learn how to improve the results within the 3d camera tracker and how to create reference null / nulls and a reference solid with a grid layer effect applied.
You will also learn how to create a 3d camera and how to import 2D as well as 3D objects into your seen.
Learn how to finalize your shot with motion blur and also learn some handy tips and tricks on how to customize your motion blur.
As an extra step you will learn how to easily set up lights (point lights) to give it a realistic look and I will guide you through the process of animation depth of field in two different ways.
The first way is to set up depth of field within the camera settings. Turn on depth of field and adjust the focus distance as well as the aperture and the blur level.
As a second step I will show you in an easy way how to apply and animate depth of field with the effect "camera lens blur".
Learn how to recreate famous movie scenes as well as music video effects and video intros.
We will recreate the hallway with pumpkins and fire to make it look like in Harry Potter. We are going to recreate the Intro from "13 reasons why" by adding polaroids in 3d space to our scene.
And we are going to bring it one step further and bring in real 3d objects (obj) with the plugin from videocopilot element 3d which is perfect for that job.
With Element 3D we are goint to take a look at the music video from Eminem Godzilla and we are recreating 3d knifes that are floating in the air like in refrain scenes of eminem s music video.
You will also learn about setting up compositions in After Effects, the 3D space, the grid effect and detail effects that make a shot look realistic, like light, motion blur and depth of field.
