Great video. The moving arm shadow was made, how?

Great question! It was a simple mask set to subtract on the texture and it animates down with the arm

What if your track doesn’t stick

Nice use of a 3d track, though the wall texture is in a weird spot and is kind of floating. The intersection between the floor texture and the wall texture does not match with the real intersection between the all and the floor. The textures should be further away and a little higher

Thanks! And yes it's good to spend time tweaking those details to get them perfect but for the sake of the tutorial I was pretty fast in those steps. Thanks for watching!

You might choose a different font for the thumbnail… I might have read the thumbnail as “bad camera tracking”… to be fair it got me to click the video but just thought it’s worth letting you know lol

Hey! Thanks for the feedback! I was actually wondering if the thumbnail was legible enough. I may change it today. Thanks for watching!

I would love to see more examples of 3d tracking in tutorials, maybe how to place particles into the 3d scene would be cool

Love that, I can make a tutorial on showing different use cases of 3d camera tracking. Great suggestion!

When do you use Track Camera and Track Motion? What's the difference?
