Great job! Whenever I glue up a complex pattern I'll clamp them dry getting then as exact as possible. Then I'll use a straight edge to run 3 pencil lines the entire length of the board then glue up using the pencil lines as reference. I find with glue squeeze out sometimes obscures the pattern & you get errors. I'm taking a break from boards for a bit because I have other things to do but I'm definitely doing this one.

I usually use pencil marks as a reference but on dark boards is barely visible. So I just need to be carefull. This board looks awesome in real but I wonder how it would come with maple and purpleheart or padouk. I may do it again with purpleheart. I will be glad if you do this pattern 😉

How wide did you cut your final strips? This is one beautiful board.

If you ask for final strips at 7:10 in my video( last edge grain cut before I flip it over to get end grain) I can not remember but each board was 25mm final thick I think so I had cut it at 30mm to allow 5mm for planing

How do you avoid snipe? I always seem to run into this issue when tightening up my boards.

Its impossible to avoid snipe on factory "tables". You can build extension, plenty videos on yt or as I did, set blades and both "tables" as flat as you can to reduce it to minimum. Sorry I call it table but I do not know how to name it in english. Snipe on my mashine is very small. I am sure there is a snipe but I can not see it
