You’re very good at sculpting..I would advise you to learn to make own clay,paper clay instead of wall putty.it will be much cheaper and lighter weight.I make my From toilet paper,PVA glue and corn starch.Wall putty is also more fragile in case it falls on floor it will crumble,brake in peaces,paper clay will conserve form,won’t crumble,brake..just put in search,DIY paper clay,,and you will find couple good recipes rite on KZbin .Can also instead of PVA glue use home made DIY glue(from corn starch,water and sugar)to make it even more cheaper,it works but from all my experiments Best is Watterproof PVA used in wood works,construction sites of buildings.I get like 5l case and it goes me for many things,DIY paper clay or all kinds of painting mediums can be made with it.I use this paper clay as base in my mixes and just as air dry clay.I do loads of wall 3D works,mix wall putty(best for me is ,,polyfilla,,) with my DIY paper clay,glue and sculpt with that,no cracks and cos adding paper clay it’s much more light weight,less likely to fall off and more elastic like,like when I make flower petals that come out of wall like a lot,simple wall putty won’t hold the shape and can easy brake,paper fibbers make it much more strong and elastic like,petals come out much more thinner,like lifelike thin and when dried don’t brake,I been for experiments doing 🌹 flower from all kinds of clay and throwing it from 3rd floor to street and only own made DIY paper clay roses didn’t showed any damage,scratch and so on,plaster rose at crush just leaves a dust cloud.There for my advice for you to experiment bit with that and sculpt with that.Youre way too good at sculpting for that elephant to fall in some house moving and brake+it’s cheaper and if you sell,more profit for you 😉 best of luck in all and keep up good work 🍀 love the music choice too 💐

Dear this never happens if u are taking same measurements of ingredients which I have mentioned in homemade air-dry clay..and keep it in airtight bag and store it in airtight container..I think u added more cornflour in ur clay.. take equal quantity of fevicol and cornflour mean 1:1 ..1cup fevicol 1cup cornflour and with the same cup( 1/4 cup) of oil ..3 to 4 spoons of vinegar mix well ..and cook in low flame ..
