Ha! I not only remember the wallpaper rollers, I use one daily in my craft room to smooth out my folds on my card bases! My bone folder always left shiny marks that I hated, so over 35 years ago I started using my wallpaper roller to flatten my scored folds. What a difference! No shiny spots AND the folds are so much cleaner and nicer!! Love the new technique for putting the larger washi tape on cardstock then embossing with a folder. I have a lot of larger washi tape rolls that are left over from other projects. Thanks for a way to use them now!

Thanks so much! I used to do the same thing -- flipping through book after book of wallpaper. 😊 Now I get the same enjoyment looking at patterned paper sets... and, in fact, I'm now designing my own digital, downloadable patterned papers and sending them out every week for others to use! (I've faced some increased health challenges since I made this tutorial, and I've had to switch to making digital cards and digital resources for others to print and use in their card making). You are right: we're only as old as we choose to be. Are you on Facebook? If so, I'd love to have you join my card making community there. You can find us at: facebook.com/groups/sandespoema Thanks again for taking the time to comment! 😊

Thank you! I am coming up on 67 in October and just started on this journey also! I was a jewelry (bead) maker and can no longer do that fine work with teeny tiny beads, LOL. But card and journal making has become my new muse and I love it! I do not have the wide washi tape, but I am off to try this concept with 3 inch, 1/2 inch, and 1/8 inch and just see how it goes! I am now a new subscriber of yours also!
