1:21 That is what impresses me most about the copters is there rate of climb, one second they are only a few feet off the ground and then in the blink of an eye they are over a hundred feet in the air.

Very dangerous and skilful stunt at 1:20 . How does he do that ?
@Airguardian5 жыл бұрын
Tons of skill and practice! That's called an overspeed. The heli transforms potential energy into kinetic energy during the fall kind of like a windmill, accelerating the rotorhead above the typical rpms that the motor allows. ;)

I will agree, his flying is impressive. What would impress me even more is, if he finished his demo without one scratch on his bird. Flying your heli and putting it into the deck like that, anyone can do. flying a 3D demo without a scratch, thats impressive.
@Airguardian5 жыл бұрын
I totally disagree. Not everyone can do a demo like that, not even if ending it with a crash, let alone save and control the helicopter after losing the tail in a maneuver. You clearly are not familiar with the handling of these machines. Besides, this was one flight with a final mishap. Most of the times he would land without a scratch.
@MCking32435 жыл бұрын
@@Airguardian He is a talented pilot, that isnt in question. I am very familiar with the handling, an accomplished pilot also. I will give credit where credit is due. Saving your bird when losing it's tail can be impressive, when you repeatedly jam your skids in the ground then lose your tail and save it im not impressed. precision of execution of these manueuvers is critical, inches from the deck but appearing like it is no concern of the pilot is impressive. These birds can do amazing things, I believe they should be treated as such.

@@MCking3243 funny comment. I would tend to think you dont fly at all. If so! name one trick he did. They push this low for the spectators. Its makes big smiles within the community.
@dbirds214 жыл бұрын
not anyone can do. In fact I would say hardly anyone can fly like that. He even made the tail strike look good.
@MCking32434 жыл бұрын
@@dbirds21 just the opposite really. I have been flying for a couple of years now. Nothing close to the 3D skills shown. I'm aware of the many different styles pilots have, some almost perfect precision and some are hard core and on the deck. My comment was only made in regard to the expense of the crash, not the pilot. I've put them in the deck many times and every time more expensive than the last. I apologize, my comment was not meant disrespectfully or to insinuate careless flying. Only that, the skill shown in this demo to me is amazing in itself. While in complete control the crash itself is also. Impressive to me would be able to fly my own without the same crash. Again, I apologize.
