The breather or desiccant system helps maintain the desired moisture level and prevents the formation of moisture condensation inside the transformer.
Aircell, on the other hand, is a product used in the aerospace industry for insulation purposes. It is a lightweight and flexible material with high thermal resistance. It is not typically used in transformer applications, including conservator transformers.

Yes it can use as a back up.. In case air cell get puncher or damange silica gel provide protection till you replaced it..
